To Whom It May Concern,
For years many fanatic hockey videogame players have pleaded for a realistic and PLAYABLE "Television Broadcast" Camera. We watch hundreds of games, many of them in HD, and we follow the action from a camera that is FIXED at centre-ice, and pivots side to side to show each offensive zone on an angle.
Both 2K and EA have implemented "Side" cameras that simply follow the puck from one end to another... EA's gone so far as calling this their 'broadcast' camera. Please!@#
However, something amazing happened when I left the NHL 2K9 demo title screen on for a little while... the CPU demo started up and believe it or not... A perfect example of a true TV broadcast camera was following the action!!! Finally. However, 2K has not activated this wonderful perspective for their devoted videogame players. Why not? (It has already been confirmed that the game carries the same playable camera options as last year)
Here's my plea 2K and VC - In a future game update or patch for NHL 2K9, please include a playable CPU demo camera and make many hockey fans happy. It's that simple. It would only add to all the new presentation improvements that you've already made.
While I'll be the first to admit that it may not be the most 'practical' camera to play from, it still would provide an entertaining experience nonetheless. VC does a wonderful 'broadcast' camera in the NBA series already.
Thanks,
Cozmicoz
