Very nice to see so many players get 12 games or more in and some of you made the playoffs based on that alone despite your record! DL9 will be starting this Saturday 27th at 4pm pst. If you are interested in joining or you are coming back from DL8 post below. If you have SIM friends who can go by our rules than invite them to join also but they have to be committed to playing the season out. Rules will be my #1 thing I will be committed to so make sure you know them.

Here is the 16 teams that made the playoffs and there seedings!

I'm a bit dissappointed I wanted to lead the league in rushing yards with a silver back. I think I could of had it had I played the two remaining games + the stats ommited from the disconnected games.

I would say it would have to be killiah for mvp.

Im not rewarding his "#1 defense" when he is sitting there protecting his self from players who have good offenses.. He didn't want Schemer racking up points against him so he could protect his Defense stats. Thats being a coward...

He was by far the best in Defense even if you did score on him he would have still got it. You will all have your chance to prove your worth in the playoffs.

Also the MVP is not a gamer but a player like Ken Stabler who I mentioned.

We have a rule that don't allow us to Fran the same player over and over. It's regular season now i say we get back to how Dynasty should be. Rather then the dubbed down summer version.

Every CAP back in my CAP's have had Workhorse and Branching Tackles removed. You will still be able to draft Gold RB's but the Work Horse aspect and Branching Tackles have been removed to tone it down a bit. Earl Campbell will be banned for obvious reason's but all the other RB's will be available to be drafted. You might not like the changes but it is in an effort to make everything a little more realistic and stop people from being demoralized because there Gold and Silver defenders cant even slow a Earl Campbell down.

These changes will take effect for DL9.

You would have to have a completely new set of records then if you did that. Which i though should have been in place when the hb's makeups where being changed around.

I agree that when Loreno does comeback that the Rushing records will be new and the old ones will be gone. You will now have to earn the Rushing records without mashing on A to break 4 tackles every run :)

No though they are hard to stop a good CB can stop it a lot compared to 3 Great LB's can not stop a Earl Campbell type of back. Yes you can slow him down until the 4th Q when they become Superman.

One more change to make note of is that my CAP list of Offensive Lineman has been edited so that you can use any of them at any tier in an effort to get people to use them more. Most people dont want to spend a Gold pick on a Offensive Lineman so if you want a Bronze Tackle you just pick who want and give them 1 of the attributes that are listed for him. It would be great to see more O-line and Kickers in the league :)

By the way........ I cant stand how the Pro Bowl is determined in the real NFL so a great record wouldnt sway my votes. Look at the Cowboys last year with 13 Pro Bowlers because of there record. Can anyone truely look at the list of Cowboys last year and say that there was not better players in the NFL than most of them LOL.

I did not realize that breaking records would cause people to play a way others dont like to play against. Maybe I need to re think the whole record thing all together. Do you guys not remember Schemer starting 1-3 in DL7? Who won DL7? I forgot...

Schemer has actually played 5 games in DDD but 3 got disconnected. Both his losses he lost by less then 6. He simply took some time off from DDD to focus more on DL8 Playoffs. He did not quit.

I cant believe you people are actually even using DDD as a credible league. DDD is a get lucky and have fun league and yet yall are on Schemers nutts saying he is not good with Defensive teams when hes only completed 2 games!!

Schemer is an OC for a local freshman team and his college's club football team as a player/coach. If someone is offensive minded such as Schemer why the heck would he want Gold Defensive players? It's not his nature...

And maybe its the otherway around, maybe Schemers defense is so good he only needs silvers and bronzes on defense to win.

My only conclusion to this is because Schemer Wins! Schemer is one of the best in the game and no one likes the best just like the New York Yankees. Everyone wants the best to lose. Could there really be any other reason for why all the hating happens to Schemer? Is it because he changed his ways and became a very good SIM player? How come when Schemer losses no one has a problem but as soon as he wins people complain?

Lets look closely at DDD now. In the last 3-4 days everyone saw Schemer was 0-2 in DDD and quickly jumped on board with the assults. Schemers a sore loser! He quit DDD after starting 0-2, he sucks without his Golds on offense...

Schemers 2 losses were to Freakish mind (lost by 3 points) and to Flawless (lost by 6 points) Which these 2 players happen to be ranked #1 and #2 in the league

Schemer is also in 3 other leagues. And with DDD having such a late deadline, Schemer focused on other leagues at that moment and not DDD.

So lets look at the facts, Even though Schemers 2 losses were against the best players in the leagues in close games. All of a sudden people out of no where come out parading about how Schemer sucks now and he can't do it without Golds on offense and Schemers a sore loser...

Schemer is now 3-2 in DDD after deciding to shut up all these haters. Including a win over freakish mind.

So I have some questions for some of the people that where making claims about Schemer. First one to hitman, You stated that "Schemer is only good with a powerful offense" and then lets look at your Best at These Things Thread where you gave Freakish Mind the awards of being the best Overall Defense and best Pass Defense. Schemer with his worst bronze ABILITY CAP QB of 4th QTR CMB, and his other 3 bronzes on offense managed to pass for over 220 against which is in your opinion the best defensive and best pass defense player in the game with ALL Gold and Silver defensive players in a 24-17 victory... Is Schemer still only good with a powerfull offense?

And BAM BAM... Calling Schemer a Sore Loser??? Didn't he beat you 56-7 in a 2k8 League Game 2 days ago??

So look, this post is not to bash anyone or start flames. It is to simply take a look at Schemer from an objective point of view and not to take these subjective comments about him posted so seriously that Schemer is getting messages on XBL about how he is a quiter in DDD which was never true...

Just give credit where credit is due, Schemer is one of the best in the game and you can not take that away from him. You can continue to cheer against him thats fine, just don't be ignorant about the facts...

What makes Juiced an outstanding player is not just his record but the humble way he presents himself. He doesn't go out and ask for any respect, he gets it - which is the only way respect gets handed out. Juiced beat me in the semis in DL7, I sent him a note to cheer him on and he says to me - I think you're the only one cheering for me as I've won this a few times and no one is likely wanting me to win again. He's a class act and has earned my respect just by the way he presents himself. Let your skills do the talking, respect will follow.

Schemer with his worst bronze ABILITY CAP QB of 4th QTR CMB, and his other 3 bronzes on offense managed to pass for over 220 against which is in your opinion the best defensive and best pass defense player in the game with ALL Gold and Silver defensive players in a 24-17 victory... And BAM BAM... Calling Schemer a Sore Loser??? Didn't he beat you 56-7 in a 2k8 League Game 2 days ago??

Just give credit where credit is due, Schemer is one of the best in the game and you can not take that away from him. You can continue to cheer against him thats fine, just don't be ignorant about the facts...

I like you Schemer but do I need to post the message I sent you on XBOX Live last night? If you are very good as a Offenseive minded gamer than does your image as that get tarnished when you draft Silver and Gold offense? I think it does honestly. Show your greatness in DL9 by drafting a Gold and Silver Defense. Not saying you have to but anyone in APF who says there offensive minded or a great operator of a offensive with Gold and Silver offensive players is laughable.

Trekkie is pretty good. But I'd still have to agree with Flawless. Juiced has a solid game. I've heard@ times he can turn to the out routes when he's in trouble....maybe use them a lil to much .... but that's nothing compared to the crap you put up with overall vs schemer. To me yes boffa can prolly beat these guys up but he's not around much anymore.

Yah Trekkie is a good player too. Played him for the 1st time in DL8 and he beat me!! He definitely has skill... just need to get more games against him before I can put him up there.

Why is it that their is a majority of people that do not want Schemer to win or have success?

Is it because he cheats? (Nope)
Is it because he breaks HITMANS Rules? (Nope, Follows them to the core like a Nazi)
Is it because he hot corner routes to the Wide Out Receiver? (Nope, never)

My only conclusion to this is because Schemer Wins! Schemer is one of the best in the game and no one likes the best just like the New York Yankees. Everyone wants the best to lose. Could there really be any other reason for why all the hating happens to Schemer? Is it because he changed his ways and became a very good SIM player? How come when Schemer losses no one has a problem but as soon as he wins people complain?

Lets look closely at DDD now. In the last 3-4 days everyone saw Schemer was 0-2 in DDD and quickly jumped on board with the assults. Schemers a sore loser! He quit DDD after starting 0-2, he sucks without his Golds on offense...

Those were the claims now here are the facts

Schemer had played more then 2 DDD games but continuous D/C made his record only show for 2

Schemers 2 losses were to Freakish mind (lost by 3 points) and to Flawless (lost by 6 points) Which these 2 players happen to be ranked #1 and #2 in the league

Schemer is also in 3 other leagues. And with DDD having such a late deadline, Schemer focused on other leagues at that moment and not DDD.

So lets look at the facts, Even though Schemers 2 losses were against the best players in the leagues in close games. All of a sudden people out of no where come out parading about how Schemer sucks now and he can't do it without Golds on offense and Schemers a sore loser...

After reading that essay I'm going to make to try to make this as brief as possible while hitting on every point. First off you came in hear hollering discrediting my defense because I didn't play you. The simple fact that you felt the need to downplay my defense bought in to question your offensive capabilities sans Gold offensive players. I'm sure many people thought to themselves hey how come this guy talks so much with a gold wr and a gold rb but they didn't say anything about it till you opened your mouth and went on your idiotic rant. So now that it's out there more and more people are noticing it and talking about it sooo you are your own worst enemy in this situation.

Just played Trekie. 24-10

It's Juic3ed vs Killah for the title.

The series between us is spit 1-1. The first game I won 14-10 with John Brodie throwing a TD with 41 seconds left.

In the second game Juic3ed played solid defense which kept him in the game until I broke through with a big play to set up a game winning 35 yard FG that I missed and Juic3ed capitalizes on a game winning TD throw in his second possesion of overtime.

I'm kind of expecting a two TD win for Juic3ed but I'm a give it my best shot.

Uh Hitman I'm not sure if you can do anything about this but me and Juic3ed where playing and it's 21-21 4th quater 3rd down with 1:28 left in the game. It's my ball and I'm in Juic3ed terriotry I think it was his 27 and all of the sudden disconnect not the normal disconnect it was the one that no one has control over. Do we have to play this game all over again or is there a way to set it up situationally? I'm pretty sure my numbers where correct....unless Juic3ed see's otherwise.

The easiest way to recreate the situation is in a cutom challenge match.

Set the Qtrs to 1 minute QTRs, and then set up the down and distance properly.

Start actual play by 38 seconds left in 1st qtr.

This way once you start the second qtr (1 minute left real time) the clock will stop on incompletes and the like.

It takes a little team work to set this up but that should help.

KK before you do this I want Juic3ed to respond. I would rather not have another ugly situation happen. I'm pretty sure my numbers were accurate so I just want to make sure don't want the title to be decided on something other than who was the best on that day.

If you do it from the first quarter the clock wont stop when you step out of bounds. The only way to mimic the clock rules is the way I suggested. Just something to think about.

Im going from experience. The game follows NFL rules so the clock is continuous during the first quarter. Only incomplete passes, injuries, and penalties stop the clock.

Its the actual rule. In the NFL the clock is continuous in the 1st and 3rd quarters. It is continuous in the 2nd until 2 minutes and 4th until 5 minutes left.
