I was impressed with Williams' KO. The guy he fought has been at 160 his entire career and was very durable and had never been stopped. Williams looked very strong and probably should stay at 160. He's probably killing himself to make 147. He has the height and the frame to be a middleweight. He could be a big opponent for Kelly Pavlik down the road.

I'm not sure if I can take anything from this fight since the guy was a bum but it was a nice ko though

I still have him losing to Margarito even know he got the decision, just like i ad Floyd clearly beaten by Castillo in their first fight

no sir he did not win CLEARLY i had the match recorded, Margarito CLEARLY landed harder shots, he was laughing at those jabs Williams was throwing at him which Margarito was blocking, Paul's face was messed up, after the fight Williams was CLEARLY more damaged, he could barely walk..watch the fight again and count how many left hooks Margarito landed clean on the rib cage..and after 5th round every one of them had Williams BENDING FROM PAIN.

this is why Margarito never acknowledged that he lost that fight as he said he thought it was a ROBBERY that he landed HARDER shots..look at their body language after the fight..does Williams look like a winner?

4 jabs blocked by gloves does not beat left hook which has you bending with pain, this is why in reality Margarito does not want to fight him again because in his mind he beat him..and he could do the same again while Paul will jab jab jab and win the fight from Judges so i kinda understand him.

he did start slow, but i had him win by 2 points....again do you think Leonard beat Hagler?

why don't Williams fight Clottey and we'll see what's what.

williams vs clottey is very interesting...i'd say clottey is the smarter fighter in that fight.

He is fighting Winky Wright next. He'll pull out a close decision imo. Winky will be rusty and the workrate of Williams will give him the edge.

i am watching Williams vs Margarito..how the heck they did not even give 1 rounds to Margarito during first 6 rounds? that is garbage.

Williams is throwing punches like a freak, but look at their Body Language..Margarito is not fazed a bit,
Margarito lands a body punch and Paul looks like he is gonna split in a half bends down with pain
holds every second..ref warns him for holding he still holds..margarito clean shots in a face opens up Williams making him bleed..after the fight look at 2 fighters and tell me how did Williams win? why because he slapped punched on Tony's gloves?

commentators blatantly taking sides with Williams

"he threw more punches, but I landed harder punches, i thought it was a ROBBERY" -Margarito

well..i wouldn't call it a Robbery only because today they do not look at the damage..only thing they look at is how many punches did COMPUTER register for them..computer does not register damaging punches.QUALITY punches..only AMOUNT of punches, so they always give it to one who threw and landed more.

yet Williams rib cage was messed up he was bleeding and was in survival Mode just flipping punches out to keep Margarito out of his reach.

this is why I think Tony won it.

I'll say it again....Williams CLEARLY won. I don't see many people protesting that fight at all either.

well i tend to agree with Margarito that he landed harder shots so he should have won the fight, but oh well, not gonna lose sleep over it.
