Sim City Leagues (PS3 Gaming CommunitY) For NBA 2K9

Sup fellas? Waited until the demo came out to this, but yeah let me introduce myself to those that don't know. My PSN is Eagle24, founder of Sim City Leagues - a gaming community that started off with just NBA 2K leagues but now expanded to other games.

Games
We are more than just a one or 2 season league, we are community thats brought 8 SUCCESSFUL Leagues from NBA 2K8 and other games like Madden.

Members
Typically consist of cool level headed guys who want to play a sim but fun, friendly but competitive and chilled but ORGANIZED environment. There's no age requirement, but most of our guys are at least 20 and some in early 30's as well, reason being is because they are more guys that age that want to play the game the WAY IT LOOKS in real life.

NBA 2K9
Our first season for NBA 2K9 is coming soon in the next 2/3 weeks, we are first going to run a pre-season type league for our players to get a feel for the game and also testing out rookies and such.

Settings/Sliders

* These are still subject to change but...
* 6 min quarters
* HOF Mode
* Injuries On (Usually turned up a bit to be more realistic)
* Trading On (Deadline mid-way through seasons)
* Draft (depends on the season) Sometimes yes, sometimes no
* Dunks In Traffic are normally reduced once again to be realistic


Activity
At least 8 games a week on AVERAGE
Aim isn't a must be it definitely recommended

Prizes
We don't have prizes EVERY SEASON, as that isn't why we play. But there are seasons where we the staff want to show our appreciation for our players and have prize winners. Winner of our last season won a free NBA 2K9, as 2 other prizes were also given out.

I've been an admin for this league since its been up, I always have fun every game I play everyone is cool knowing its just a game and were playing as competitors and not cheesers. It's fun when you win and you know your playing the right way.

I've been playin in this league for 8 seasons, you learn a lot from these dudes. Its as sim as it gets and its very, very active. Its a great learning experience if you're trying to get into simulation gameplay.

Sim City has a well known reputation. Our community stands by its name, if you're tired of playing those cheesing rank games in the lobby, SIM CITY is where you want to be. Like my dawg EAGLE24 said we've been doing this for 8 successful seasons, 9 if you include our recent SIM CITY BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP series in MADDEN 09. Shout out to my NEPHEW MVJ for making it to the finals.

Best league i have ever been in and there's no flaw in the league. I know how people don't really like to play rank games and get frustrated at times when someone plays chessy against you.In this league you never really get cheesed and it could change the whole way you approach the game of NBA 2k. This league even gives out prizes sometimes and you dont't have to pay to get in, now what league do you know that does that?It really isnt about the prizes anyway just the love of the game playing it how it should be played and that's the sim way.Also our family even plays other games together just like they mentioned up there we had a madden bowl and the contestants are in the finals now.This league has hot topics and great discussion on the forum and eveyone is friendly, no bad attitudes just a good thing to be apart of.So, come join our family!

This is by far the sickkest league online period...xbox or ps3. the competition is fierce as we have some of the best "sim" ballers online. 8 successful nba 2k8 seasons under our belt only proves this league is here to stay. no cheese, no crying, no cheating jus grown men (in sum cases young boys who r mature beyond they years) playing the game the way it should be played...simcityleagues.com get wit it or get goin!
