Are there any graphical differences, because I hear the 360 will be in 1080, and the ps2 will be in 720.

I just want to say... please start working your way to maxing out the PS3's abilities rather than porting over to us the max you can do on an Xbox 360. We all know that with mulit-platform games the PS3 usually comes out looking a little worse and I'm sure it's only because you guys lead develop on 360 and then hand down to PS3 users basically a port (I know this isn't TECHNICALLY what you do, but I might as well say it) where you don't exploit the powers to flesh out the graphics. Of course with ports, you also get little problems like these niggling graphic issues.

PS3 and 360 handle graphics differently, just because it looks better on Xbox 360 does not necessarily mean the Xbox 360 can display better graphics than a PS3. Put some extra work in on the PS3 version next time and make it look as good as you can. Are you afraid of doing this because you'll have a lot of complaints because more people own an Xbox 360 over a PS3 and they'll complain because the PS3 version looks better? They shouldn't complain, they're still getting a game that is being released being made as best as it can on their system, PS3 users however right now are getting a game that is nowhere near to being "the best it can be" considering the PS3 specs.

2k's Bioshock game is meant to have the same (some places report "better") anti-aliasing for the game on PS3 compared to the 360 version. So people, stop spoon-feeding stuff about AA. Maybe 2k should give Visual Concepts the phone number of the developers that worked on Bioshock so Visual Concepts can ask them how to handle the graphics for PS3, looks like Visual Concepts has no idea.

Only other reason I can think of is that they might not have the extra time to put in the extra effort since it's a game that has to be released EVERY year by a certain DATE.

There are noticeable differences in the graphics between the 360 and PS3. Some games, that are multi-platform(Meaning both PS3, and 360 have "that" game.) the PS3's graphics are clearly superior to the 360, but unfortunately, mostly it goes to the 360, and even more so unfortunate, 2k9 is one of those games. The lighting is better, not to the point where you would be stunned, but its noticeable. And its crisper, like from afar, crisp and smooth.

i have played both demos on my 1080p lcd and i must say the ps3 players seem to have more realistic detail to them. Both look good but you can notice the difference between the two i think

Why does it matter? Do you own both systems? If you do, then pick the version based on your comfort level with the controller, and not on the graphics.

Making the PS3 the lead platform for now on, is the best thing to do. You know this devs.

i was wanting to know this same thing. i have both demo's i like the response better on the 360 over the ps3..but all my homeboys be on ps3 lol. the lighting is the first thing i see that's better on 360,maybe my opinion is biased but i spent the same amount of time on both systems practicing the same moves and cuts. 360 repsonds faster for to me. also, anyone notice the icons are wrong on offense? i used pierce and i know he's the 3...but he has the 2 man icon lol. it's the demo so i know it wont remain, that was just funny. i'm bout to reserve mine now and i guess get both, but i damm sure like the demo for 360 better. i cant stand the ps3 version for 2k8 but i gotta play to play my friends lol sucks

Okay guys get a life, every one and I mean every sports game that has been released for the 360 has always had a better frame rate of speed end of story. Until Sony comes out with easier programing and a chip the processes graphics at a higher frame rate all you PS3 users will just have to suffer for getting the more expensive system. Im not saying overall the 360 is superior it just processes graphics at a faster rate, read all the specs you know it so get over it. Look at all the 2k Sports games and also their rival EA, they all post higher frame rates for the 360 Madden anyone 30 fps vs 60 huh huh huh give it up for the 360 for being able to do this while the ps3 cant thank you thank you very much

if they made it the best as possible on the ps3 then ported to xbox 360 it wouldnt make sense the ps3 is way stronger and has better specs(according to the people in this thread) so if you utilized every single bit of the ps3s engine and then port it to the xbox 360 it would basically crash your xbox.

the only solution to this is if 2k has to seperate dev teams one for xbox nd one for the 360 but as mentioned in many other threads, that would take way to much time and money to do. So the obvious solution is to just make it on the weaker system (according to the people in this thread) so they can completely utilize its tech nd the port it to the ps3 for a good experience with both systems but not the best it can be, at least for the ps3.

^^ You couldn't be more wrong, it's only because they lead develop for 360, not that the PS3 can't display better graphics.

I said faster frame rate, not graphics better, there is a difference. The 360 just processes graphics at a higher rate 60 vs 30 enough said.

Jelleriii is correct BUT the biggest issuie like he said is that its much much easier to code games for the 360 which is why most games are done for the 360 and ported its not always the case but but more likley then not a lot of companys dont like codeing for the PS3

the ps3 has better hardware but unless its a 1st party game you will rarley see it

360 has better framerate?! are you nuts? of developers took time and effort instead of just porting the damn game, then we ps3 owners will have games that look as good as mgs4. have you seen mgs4? or gta 4 on the 360 vs ps3? lol. better framerate? gta 4 on the 360 lags if you have simultaneous explosions. and you're saying that 360 can process graphics faster? uncharted only used 40% of the ps3's power, and gears of war 2 will use 95% of the 360's graphical prowess. nuff said.

HAHA. even the lead game designer of Gears of war 2 said that GeoW2 already reached the 360's limits. aaawww...any good exclusive games? are you kidding me? Littlebigplanet, resistance 2, tekken 6, final fantasy versus 13, metal gear solid 4, god of war 3, killzone 2. ahaha. your poor dual-layered dvd's can only hold up to 9GB of content. our blu-ray games can hold up to 60gb, and that's not even a dual-layer blu ray. it can go up to 200gb. so, what's some exclusive games for 360? oh, GeoW 2 and fable 2. that's just it. ahaha. oh i heard you also have final fantasy 13? what about final fantasy versus 13? oh, you don't have it? oh, my bad. the 360 can't handle the graphics. it might get RRoD'd. LOL.

time is money, and developing on the xbot360 is more time efficient. Sorry ps3 users, unless they make nba 2k9 a ps3 exclusive i dont think we're getting an equal version graphic wise.

If Gears of War 3 comes out on 360 I'll bet Killzone 2 will still look better than it.

Exclusives? Research them on google there are so many I don't want to waste time typing it up
