How do you alley-oop on the 360 demo?

I tried both triggers and pass, but no success on the alley. Maybe I'm retarded:D. I've been ooping since Live 98. Help.

it works with the lakers just tap l trigger and pass at the same time when u see a cutter, i couldnt do it with the celtics at all.

LEFT TRIGGER ONLY + PASS. if u push both triggers and pass, it does some 2 man crap.

it works the same method as on 2k8 but now you need to catch a player running to the basket to do it .no more superman alley oops like on 2k8

I like that you can't do superman alley-oops but I've had clear 2-on-1 breaks and still can't do it. I guess I just need to keep trying till I can get comfortable with how it works.

ive done it about 5 times total. its hard to do an alley successfully even on a 2-1 fast break. unless u draw the defender to you (the passer) then alley it. dang, you're makin me wanna play it again...

also not everyone will complete alley oops this year. I throw them to pierce on the break and he misses the pass alot. Guess realism wins again because IRL he cant jump very high

Just threw one down with Ray Allen on a 2 on one. Very realistic. I did a few with KG too. This game is bananas. All the "little things" make the game what it is; like Perkins pointing to himself as if to say "my fault" after a basket interference call and walking up the court bowing his head and shaking it like, "I can't believe I did that $h1t". I can't wait for the full game.

Same in 2k8. Alot of times the passes would be off or the player would catch the lob and try and lay it in. Alot of times the player would do a 360 lay-up (and miss).

But some1 threw a lob down with Rondo? Rondo flushed one 2 handed? But i've yet to toss a lob on the 360 too, even with a 2 on 1 fastbreak.... keep practicing i guess.

i tried to oop it like 20x @ my friends house but no one could throw it down (not even KOBE) they players would catch it then the just let go of the ball...:confused:

u gotta have good timing, try it as soon as u see someone cutting to the hole. its WAY more realistic this year

i thought alley oops is just a regular pass. I done it with regular pass and it work.

I think I completed about 10 alley oops...the rest of the time they wouldnt be able to put it down or the defence deflected the pass. Its just a matter of timing...its much more realistic than last year.

Don't hold down turbo! That's the thing that was preventing me from throwing ally's in the demo and the actually game.

Just literally press Left Trigger + A Button ONLY!

hold left trigger and press A when you have a cutter to the basket... and one comment said they couldnt do it with the celtics in the demo... i did it with rajon rondo to ray allen.
