We could keep updated a thread here with all the questions we have about it. There isnīt much info about the PC version yet. But Iīm sure 2K will give us some answers in a few days, after the PS3/360 release date. Waiting for some videos, screens and a demo, of course. Things we already know:

-Itīs a 360 port.
-Release date:Oct 21 (US).
-Official info:
2K HD – Breathtaking action in full HD resolution brings you radically improved facial textures and eye movement, true-to-life crowd reactions and celebration sequences, and much more.

Styles Upon Styles – New Signature Defensive Styles and more Signature Shots, dunks and free throws give you EVEN MORE distinctive player styles.

Adaptive AI – Now your teammates and your opponents read, react, and adjust in real time to match your gameplay strategies.

The Association 2.0 - All-new NBA.com interface, Player Ambitions, Player Scouting, and more options for the casual player make this the most robust Franchise mode ever

* Does not support any online functionality, including but not limited to online games, 2K Share, ReelMaker or Living Rosters

** Internet access required to install and authenticate the game.
-Minimum requeriments:

OS: Windows Vista, XP, or 2000 CPU | CPU: Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz Single Core
processor or equivalent (2.8 Ghz for Vista) RAM: 512 MB or more (1 GB for Vista) Disc Drive: 8x or
faster DVD drive | Hard Drive: 10.5 GB or more free space | Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible * | Sound:
DirectX 9.0c compatible | Input: Keyboard or dual-analog gamepad
* Video card with 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets is required: ATI x1300
or greater | NVIDIA 6600 or greater | DirectX 9.0c compatible card with Shader Model 3.0 support.

-Demo release date is TBA yet.

Some questions:

-Max relosution supported? Widescreen support?.

-What did you exactly mean with "* Does not support any online functionality, including but not limited to online games, 2K Share, ReelMaker or Living Rosters?.

Supposed to be a direct port of xbox 360 version without online capabilities.

Still no proof of that though cause I havent seen any screens, videos, etc.

You don't have a GPU, so no it won't run the game. Integrated graphics can't do anything with current games.

What I really want to know is why there are NO screens of the PC version. I want to see exactly what it looks like, and I don't like that they are hiding any info about it. It's two weeks away and there isn't a single visible proof of it yet. If I'm going to skip the 360 version this week it'd better be worth my time.

I think they give out free screen shots of the game with every purchase of the PC version. So be patient.

I'd also like to know if the game has LAN support.

Love to get some 5 on 5 action going in the office here.

You know, until there is some info about the port I'm starting to think it really is a port of the PS2 version despite what anyone here says. I don't see a reason that they would not release a single screenshot from the PC version unless they're lying.

Well, they probably figure all the screenshots of the 360 are technically the PC as well. So why bother...

They released information that the PC is a 360 port...They can't take back their word and switch to a ps2 version. There would be no sense in even trying to release the game if it was a ps2 port.

Anyway, it has to be easy to give the pc users a demo of nba 2k9, its literally just a different file type than the 360 on the marketplace and hosting it with compatibility for pc game controllers.

Yeah I suppose. The statement does say something about HD graphics and whatnot.

The demo though is bull. At least tell us a date, we all know it'll be "before the game comes out".

question, does anyone know whether or not using a 360 controller on the PC would allow you to use the shotstick?
thanks!

I'm sure it will, it already uses it for the 360 version so you should be able to use it with the PC. I'm going to use my wireless 360 controller myself.

So are all the fools whining about the game. Not everyone likes online gaming, where people as yourself will just sit there and **** around and curse the whole time.
