Stealing Defence a problem?

I loved the stealing animations - stole 7 balls from fisher on that demo in one go. (i know its because of ROOKIE level) It looks and feels so much better than in previous 2K.

people use to complain that the stealing is too easy in the earlier 2kgames ... from playing the demo it seems pretty balanced. i had rondo putting in work for me......

These are probably people that in previous years loved to just hack at the ball constantly. In this year's game your player puts more of his body into the animation to try and actually touch the ball instead of a generic swipe. Because of this if you miss it's much easier to get blown by. No more hack, hack, hack, steal. Now you have to be aware of the situation, the defense behind you and the animation of the guy you're guarding, or you'll pay constantly.

yeah i like the new lock on d but i dont know how to get steals from it? Can someone give me some one give me tips?

yea the new steal method makes u more disciplined, cuz u'll mess around put ur self out the play for real, definitely more realistic
