dunking?

How do you dunk in 2k9? I've played Live since 2005. I've switched and I'm going to buy 2k9 this year. I've played the demo about 8 times. I have never been able to dunk. My player always stops in front of the rim and lobs it in. How do you dunk in 2k9? I've had Kobe on a fast break and he still won't dunk. Anyone have any tips for me?

Turbo + shot stick.

Use the Shotstick

Hold down the right trigger and press the right stick. The right stick is your shot stick and allows you to choose exactly what type of shot you want to go for. The right trigger is your agressive modifier and changes it from a normal layup or shot to a dunk.

Hehehe. This is not NBA Live my friend. Its not easy to get a dunk in 2K, which makes it realistic.

you need to get a running start in 2k9 also kobe doesnt do standing dunks anymore but tall players like KG can do it . THANK YOU 2k

everytime some1 new comes to play 2k thats always one thing they cant do rite at the start, dunk. n the problem i always see with them is right b4 they're able to do a drunk, they let go of turbo n hit the stick so it just stops n shoots. hold the turbo n never let it go :P n hit the stick mebbe a 1 yard away from the rim lol n ull b good.
