In the previous 2K games, after a few years all of the team would be like 10 Mil+ over cap and you couldn't make any moves. Nobody had room to take on contracts. Has 2K9 addressed this? It really bugs me when I can only deal with 1 team in the league when trying to dump players.

Someone who has the game let us know. This is important!

Alright. At the start of Association, teams usually have their real cap figures but as you move ahead a few years teams seem to never try to get under the cap. In real life teams are rebuilding and looking for cap relief all the time. Only the stacked contending teams should really be over the top. Teams that are in the bottom of the league and have young players should be looking to have as much cap space as possible. In the previous 2K games nearly all of the teams would be maxed out after a few seasons and it really limited the kinds of trades you could do.

Last year players would resign for less...I assume its the same thing this year
