5v5 has me confused?

I went on to try and see how that mode was, and they throw you right into a court shooting around, you can't choose the player or the teams? Does anyone know if this will be fixed come tuesday? Can you invite your friends? If it stays this way it is a major let down.

The players I heard will be assigned randomly, as to avoid everyone always wanting to play as the star player on the team, like Kobe or Lebron.

I think if it's ranked...you can't pick player or team. If unranked....u can do whatever u want.

ranked is all random... so they assign you random players, random teams... unranked you can choose. the reason why its random is because people want the star player and its 90% of the time a race for who wants the star player aka kobe, d-wade, lebron, etc.. but im fine with that, it gives me the opportunity to play as teams i usually wouldnt play as.

I can understand 100% why assigning the players for 5on5 would be random. I can't understand why the team you get would be random.

I like the concept, but if the teams are random for 5on5 why not random teams for normal ranked games?

I'm also curious about substitutions. Who's in control? What if some ******* has Fisher and he decides he wants to be Kobe. Can he just stick him in as the point?

No only if there is nobody left on the other team. I like the fact that ranked is random and unranked is not, ill just be a little cautious when I get a C, PF cause im not a great low post player.

I found this issue odd when i first started because they just put me on a team and gave me a player with no instruction....

I like the fact you have to bring your A game in random positions. You get familiar with all NBA positions.

well i tried this 5 on 5 ranked match and was assigned to Green on the OKC thunder and the other team was the Suns theres was 10ppl at first but game wouldnt start so sum ppl quit and the game started so it was 3 users w/2 cpu vs 3 users w/ cpu and we won 68-71 and i got A+ grade

Aha it's a nice concept, ans yes it's very confusing. But this is the first time I've been able to get in the 5v5 game and they picked me as LeBron James, haha. So I'm all good.

I thought I'de try the Team Up 5 on 5 feature. They threw me into a game already in progress as Dirk. The concept is great, but I was totally disoriented by the eye level camera angle. Is there a way to change to the camera to a preferred view? Anyone else have a similar reaction?

Yeah I'd like to know as well.I tried it out yesterday and it was lots of fun except I almost got sick after a couple of minutes with that eye level cam. And I couldn't figure out how to change it.In fact I couldn't change anything whatsoever ..Strange.

I hated it too, but then I realised if you press down on the d pad it scrolls thru some views.

Would have been great if they gave us some instruction and not made us figure it out on our own!
