Anyone know if this is just a first day fluke?
For the first time in years, myself and my friends WILL NOT be buying 2K9. I pre-ordered the game but will not pick it up.
Removing Online Lobbies has ruined an otherwise great franchise.
2K, we demand a response to the lobbie issue.

no shet! people talking like the game's been out for months...even the PS3 had problems when it was released. And look at the 360, it still has problems.

i think the online gameplay is pretty descent. What makes it a bit difficult is the camera angles. With the 2k view, it'll be easier to anticipate and find the person you're defending.

How do you know lobbies are coming? You on the development team? Anyways, even they are coming (PLEASE GOD), people do have the right to expect a game to work when its release. Yes, the PS3 had problems at launch, but 2K8 online was great, and it already worked. The changes they have made, don't seem very good...certainly not enough for the game to not be playable online. Hell, why didn't they just keep the same exact online community. I loved it, and IT WORKED.
On another Note: Online game play was great last year, and I doubt that They would have made it worse....
