Comeon man, be real. It's a minor loss if they did do it. I don't know why they would remove it, even though I never used it personally. It made the game way too choppy I found.

I play 2K view quite a bit because my friends prefer it. But none us would play Live or miss out on this game just because 2K view is gone. The camera view isn't even in my top 20 things that are most important for me as far as gameplay. I can adjust to camera views. There are other points of gameplay that straight up needed to be fixed. And this game has come a long way in the last few years.

2k cam is offline, and to me as a PS3 user, I hate the fact they took the Sixaxis FT shooting away. They literally copied the game from Xbox 360, I have no problem with 360, but if my system has motion controls I want to use it, if I wanted xbox ports I would have bought a ****ing xbox.... Just wanted to point out when you us quotation marks, as in " ", you don't have to include "on quote/off quote". The first and second "" clearly open and close the quotation, making the words redundant. It would be like saying 7 a.m. this morning, or "This game costs $60 dollars".

I admit the 2k cam was a "classic" cam since the DreamCast days..It has been there since it first started. To me, i prefer the "braodcast" view. Not sure why they removed it this year. My only conclusion is to maybe provide a more realistic view for gamers. Maybe they did this to go deeper into the "presentation" if you will,by going into more detail in re-creating an actual televised NBA game. just my opinion.

My friends and I always refer to the 2k cam and cheese cam, but that's a mute point.

What i think they should do to appease those who want to use the 2k cam, is make it to where a game is specified as a 2k cam game. That way, before a game is agreed to, both players know that the other person is using that camera.

To clearify, if player 1 challenges someone and plans on using the 2k cam, it is specified in the team selection screen (and cannot be changed during the game).

Or, there can be an actual "2k Cam" game type, so that solves the whole discussion, right there. Whether searching, creating or being challenged to a game, if it's called 2k cam (as opposed to exhibition, dunk, so on), the player will know if they want to play that person or not.

I also wanted to throw something else in there at random; I hope 2k can institute "Team Up" leagues. I think that would be very much on point. They would have to tune the shooting percentage of computer controlled opponents, but it could prove to be a great mode to have.

Kids are just used to a certain way and are usually unwilling to change. So they act out. Most of the people complaining about the online cameras whine because they're used to playing it a certain way. They're used to their advantages with the camera. And because they're so damn neurotically competitive, they don't want to use another camera when they play so much better with the 2k Cam. They're not willing to learn another camera.

Like it's funny how this is supposed to be 2009 and it plays more primitive than 2008. The only thing that's really improved and not disimproved is the graphics. To me gameplay matters way more than graphics. Of course the graphics gotta be descent but it has to play well.

Broadcast cam is a good simulation of people sitting on their asses watching an NBA TV Game. Yeah, that's just the sort of simulation I wanted.

For me, I have been using the 2k view since dreamcast days. Some people don't understand how this can really leave a sour taste for some gamers who have been using this view and supporting 2k for 6+ yrs. I really enjoy the association mode, but with the 2k camera view the game is laggy...just like in MLB 2k8. I would really like to hear if 2k plans on fixing the lag issue as it doesn't seem to be a topic of discussion.

Thanks for any and all information on this issue, because I think 2k9 is a GREAT game and I'm just waiting to really sink my teeth into it once I can play the game lag free.

Most of you guys on here say 2k cam sucks? Obviously none of you played basketball on a competitive level at all.

I played in high school, college, and got invited to sveral pro camps but I wanted to be the first in my family to graduate college. That being said, 2k cam is the BEST camera to use in gaming. I want to see the court, I want to see who is cutting, I want to see the action going on the weak side, I want to be able to play defense online and not only that I want to rebound.

The current online views don't allow me to do that, and yes I am going to return this game simply because of that. I do agree that 2k will lose sales because of one feature that was used not by all, but by many. This game helped me cure the competitive juices I get from time to time. And now with three kids, and being a personal trainer, 2k league and online play is a mental break..............I guess not this year. So before you guys knock another persons feeling towards a great part of a game being taken away, STFU and have some manners.
