Ok, here is my immediate problem. I started Association as the lakers, made some trades, rebuilt the team from the ground up. I set minutes for every player at the rotation screen, and set the substitution method to be rotation based, NOT FATIGUE BASED. The problem is that the computer is just ignoring it. Jordan FARMAR is playing more minutes than Dwight Howard. It appears to be the same for all my starters. They are getting less minutes than the reserves. My 1st thought was that the score was playing a part. I typically handle the computer pretty easily and the point differential can be significant. I thought, "Maybe the computer coach is sitting my starters to prevent injury and fatigue and playing the bench because we have a big lead." While this is very realistic, it KILLS the morale of my starters. Dwight Howard is ****ED that he's only playing 19 min. a game. anyone else encounter this problem? Any Solutions?

im having a similar problem but with the away team. I play 12 min quarters and the away team never subs out. I played 2 games and the starters played the entire 48 mins. I have mines set on fatigue though.

Ya, something is wrong. Maybe there is a setting somewhere. I can always rotate players myself, but I don't want to have to worry about it. In 2K8, the AI just did its best to get everyone the minutes they were promised in their rotation. It was never spot on, but it was close. If choosing rotations doesn't matter, why put it in at all. Maybe someone from 2K will see this and shed some light.
