yes you can, you just go to custom and invite, my friend sent me on today.

no he is talking about a un-ranked match.....YOU CAN NOT PLAY YOUR FRIENDS IN A RANKED MATCH....

You've never been able to play a ranked match against a friend unless you both meet up in the lobby. now that there isn't any lobby option, it isn't happening unless you randomly get matched up with someone when doing quick match.

I do not see anything about unranked or invite while on the online menu. I see ranked quick match, ranked team up, ranked custom match, player match, leagues, online features, and main menu.

DOES IT REALLY MATTER RON IF ITS RANK OR UNRANK. JUST HAVE TWO LOBBIES FOR CRY BABIES THAT DONT WANT LOBBY TO PLAY UNRANK LOBBY. BUT FOR PEOPLE THAT WANNA PLAY RANK (90%) MAKE A RANK LOBBY LIKE 2K8. THAT WAY EVERYONE IS HAPPY. :lol:
PEOPLE CRY ABOUT PEOPLE NOT PLAYING AND SPAMING THEN JUST DONT GO ON THE LOBBY IF YOU DONT LIKE IT. KEEP PLAYING QUICK MATCH. I DONT UNDERSTAND ITS COMMON SENCE 2K!!!!
