Been playing the demo of 2k9 for quite awhile. Getting the full game Friday. I was just wondering in the full release. Does each team have their own difficulty level? Like when you play against the Celtics, it will feel difficult and tough to beat them, but if you play say the Knicks, since that team isn't as good, it will be easier for you to beat them?

Reason I ask is because with 2k8 it felt like each team I played against was the same difficulty sort of thing. Same difficulty level. If I played against the Atlanta Hawks, the 'difficulty' felt the same as if I was playing against 1 of the top teams...

Does the above make much sense?

Anyways is this sort of thing in NBA 2k9?

nah this year you definately will feel the difference between teams. I played the comp against the cavs in my first game on superstar and got smacked by 35.....its like when u leave a player that can shoot open hes gonna make the shot based on where its at and how good he is. so if u leave lebron open at the 3 in certain situations he'll miss anyway which is good.

then i went online and blew a guy out by 25

the end

I still feel like every team is the same.

I do a fantasy draft in my Association, and there's not much difference between what team I play. I expected to have a hard time with the Warriors because they were the top team in my league, but nope, I beat them even though my overall record is 14-20.

nah man... its definetly diffrent. if it feels the same you aint playing no good teams or player. maybe u need to turn the diffriculty up. the AI this year is crazy. i played the lakers last night. had them down by 15 at the start of the 4th. kobe came off the bench and everytime the ball was in his hand. it was crazy. pulled it out in overtime tho
