Good morning everyone. I awoke this morning from what I thought was a bad dream. I had a dream that I was playing 2K9 and it was the worst basketball game I have played. In this dream superstars never missed a shot and had defenders kissing their toes and telling them "I will forever remember this day you dunked on me game GOD"

So I said it could not have been real. I went to my 2k account to see how many more personal hate mail I got for putting this game on fullblast yesterday. And what do I see? More and more post and threads of hate towards this game! I then relised it was not a dream it was all real!

So as I listen to my favorite morning show Star and bucwild, I said to my self "What would Star do" well he would bring the hate to 2K. So that's what I will do here. I have posted so much hate on other threads that I feel its best to not have many hate threads but to have one superhate thread. Everyone post your hate on this thread let's make this thread over 30 pages long with hate.

So many thins that worked in last years game was removed or tweaked "for the better" as they say. Lobbies, gone!!!! Instead of seeing who you are playing, you will face a random guy/gal and not know if he prefers sim play or how I like to say "NBA 2K9 JAM" I was really looking forward to this game. The demo felt good. Players faces looked good. But after buying the real thing I then relised its not good at all. I can go on and on about all the things I hate in this game, but I have posted most of those thoughts on other threads.

So I say to you the people, let's all hate together on one common thread and bring to light the highly flawed product that 2Ksports created. The sale of 2Ksports to EA did not go down but maybe if sales fail 2K will have to consider rethinking that deal. Imagine that, Live as bad as it is only geting worst if it was the only NBA game around. so come one come all and share your hate on this sad exscuse of a game to hold the title of best Basketball game on the market.

The word I used was flawed not terrible. But online is terrible. No lobbies, are you kidding me? Kobe played like trash in the NBA finals but in this game he will never miss a shot. I understand its a game but where is the balance? If you will give the superstar the ability to score at will at least make him work for the shot instead of him runing around in circles then the defense breaks down and he jumps from the free throw line with a windmill dunk on 3 defenders. I only seen that twice in basket ball history. John starks against the bulls in the 90 and Lebron last year against Boston. Balance is all I am asking for.

The game is great, but Kobe is too freaking gifted in this game! Kobe rarely dunks on guys in the league now! I can understand if he has a step, but it's too easy for a player to just run around with Kobe and get's open for a dunk or layup online. I love the game, but that ish needs to be toned down. Kobe scoring 40 points in a 5 min game is freaking ridiculus.

Kobe did score 81pts in a game once. Scored 50+pts in 4 straight games...w/ 2 of those games being 60 and 65pts. Has multiply 40+pts streaks of @ least 5+ games. 1 of only 2 players to have more than one month of averaging 40+ppg...So, Kobe busting my ***, I don't have a problem w/

Let's make a rule! Don't commet until you have played the game online and played someone who really abuses Kobe. Everyone doesn't do it! Kobe is a scorer and he shoots 45% from the field. He has the most complete skill set of any NBA player, but he doesn't get to the basket on almost everyplay.

My statement by no means was meant to be an insult. Looks like you took it the wrong way, but that's typical in forums. I'm just telling it like it is. I hated this game when I first tried the demo becuase it was different than last year and I wasn't dominating like I was used to. Once I got the hang of it and started getting better and winning, I fell in love. You may experience the same thing with a lot of practice is all I'm saying.

While we are hatin' I would like o hate on all the freezing on my ps3 version. Got the game yesterday and tried to create my eight players and out them on the most boring team as I always do. Well my system froze up So many times it took me over two hours to do this. Every time I tried to go back and edit something on one of m Caps the game would hesitate and sometimes freeze. After I finally got it done I started my Association and tried to fire up a quick game... No go. Another freeze. I turned it off and went to bed. The game froze on me a good 20 times. I've only had games freeze on me a total of around 3 or 4 times on me in 3 years.

If you want to stop kobe an lebron use artest and battier. Artest is bigger than lebron and his footspeed is excellent. He has a high steal rating as well so he can knock the ball away from cheesers running in circles. It works for me everytime. Battier and artest on court at the same time is beautiful

If the reason why Kobe should be really good in this game is because he didn't play amazingly good during "some" games in the Final, I think that your word don't have valor for me. Also, HATE is a strong word for a videogame. You can hate how the goverments don't do anything while they see a genocide is happening in Congo, Sudan, etc. But for a video game. The game is flawed and unbalanced. unreal things happen like someone hitting 20 3 pointers in a (20 min.) game, and some superstars (kobe, lebron, wade, t-mac...) are virtually unstoppable. and the Online gaming? sucks ga-ga balls. it is the MOST flawed part of the game. missed wide open layups, bullcrap moving charge calls, defenders unrealistically sliding in place for a block when you left him at halfcourt, derrek fishers inability to miss a three, defenders just looking at players pass them by and score, some point guard grabbing a rebound from you even though you have 3 big men there with great positioning, and so on. I ain't a hater, but the game is not 50-50 when playing online. there seems to be a clutch factor that is overdone and when your team is off, they are really OFF. to all of those out there that will say that I can't play and need to practice, lemme ask you this: do you see games played like this in real life? all the steal attempts should get your player tired faster and recover times should be realistic. and when I beat my man with a pump fake? a slow motion pull-up shot aint poppin. not real. still love this game to death, and still play online, and curse at he screen everyday, cause the game is glitched, man. if I hold on to the shoot button for too long, i should be penalized, but not when i do everything right and there are NO defenders in sight; i shouldn't miss a shot then.


2K sports? just because you ARE the leader in NBA gaming does not mean that you can put up anything. come up with a patch so that the game reflects a true sim, not just some pretty NBA JAM. reward people that actually run a half court game and, when the opportunity comes, can run a true fast break. outlaw the guy who sends kobe all the way downcourt after the opponent shoots a shot so that a quick pass gets to him for the easy score. At least make it a 15% percent chance of reaching him. that aint real ball. add collision detectors so that passes dont go through three people to someone for the score. and tone down the clutch factor and superstar cheesing. make an online ranked lobby so that people who want to play real ball can enjoy REAL ball. feet planted down to take the charge and a blocking foul is still called? fake as hell.

sorry for the rant, but sometimes online play ****es me off!!
