Saw Vujachich or whatever, that lady boy from the Lakers dive for a ball going out of bounds, evidently he was out "for a couple of games" with a shoulder injury. It was sweet...cause that dude is lame as hell.

My reaction wasn't anything more than a little fist pump.

Gasol hit ray ray who hardly fell on his back and howled, he remained like that maybe 5 seconds I could see the pain on his face he slowly got up and took his 2 free throw and after that he got subtitued I was like O_O is this a game? I never saw such a realistic injury for real

In the fourth quarter of a game vs the Suns I had Michael Finley dive to save a ball on the sidelines.

He went headfirst into the scorers table and separated his shoulder. Hit up the replay and you could actually see how he got hurt. Left the court grasping it. Nice touch 2k.

No injuries during the actual game yet, but I had one during the demo. I was Lamar Odom chasing Paul Pierce as he ran alone on the fastbreak. I catch up with him just as Paul Pierce lifts off the floor, and I fouled him pretty hard from behind. You could actually see him land wrong on his ankle, and he immiedietely hit the floor and grabbed it. Just like everybody else said, you could see the pain in his face. It was amazing. Rajon Rondo walks up, helps him up and carried him off as Paul hopped on one leg towards the Trainer's Office. By the way, that was all part of one constant flow. It looked as if it was part of the gameplay, it really felt real, and it made me actually give a damn that there was an injury.

Yup. was actually playing the demo the other night, ( i dont have 2k9 yet) and foulded Peirce on a layup. He rolled on the ground. then started rolling back and forth in pain grabbin his ankle. Then saw ray ray under Pierces arm walking him off the court. Tony Allen came in adn shot his 2 freethrows.. I love it..

i actually want to see injuries cause they look so good and realistic like no other sports game like in madden or ncaa they just lay on the ground its always the same animation

Oh god I HATE Madden's injuries. It's retarded. You run the play, blah blah. Everybody's cool. Then all of a sudden, somebody is on the floor, and it says their injury is: "wind knocked out" or whatever. Then they get up by themselves and walk off. I remember I hit Michael Vick a few years back, and I broke his leg or something, I don't remember. He got up, limped off by himself. I later found out it was a career ending injury. How can you end somebody's career if they got up under their own power and got off the field? In NBA 2K9, the injuries are the best of all time.
