View Full Version : The live update. Where are the settings for it?

I started the game and it asked me if I want the live update thing where rosters and attributes are updated according to live games. I started my association yesterday and don't want to have trades go down in my game like real life, but would like the attributes thing. Is there a way to turn of the automatic live trade in association mode?

nope, I believe you are stuck. Delete all files, restart game.

It doesn't work in Association Mode so there's nothing to worry about.

are you sure? Then whats the point? online only? I could've sworn i read somewhere it works in association

It's under options -> manage rosters -> downloads -> and its under one of the bottom 3. You can turn off the live auto-update.

is there a way in association to overide real trades. Say I have the Lakers and they trade Odom in real life. What if I want to keep Odom on my association team. I would imagine and hope that there would be an option to accept or reject the trade in your association.

You can BRING the Living Rosters into the Association, but once you start Association, everything that changes whether it's a free agent signing, a release, or a trade is all fake. The Living Rosters will not do anything to your Association once you begin.

You can BRING the Living Rosters into the Association, but once you start Association, everything that changes whether it's a free agent signing, a release, or a trade is all fake. The Living Rosters will not do anything to your Association once you begin.
Why not this freakin sucks why living rosters then!!!
