Have you guys noticed what works yet? Of course with every game, there is a certain way/instance on when to steal the ball. Even if I have Drose's hand go directly through Tony Parkers ball while he's dribbling most of the time, it will not knock the ball away.

What are some of the instances you guys have noticed when you are able to creep the ball?

The first local battle at my house begins this weekend.. Help me 2kforum brothers to be the best locally...lol..lol..:)

Peace

Takes a little patience and timing. I've found the best way to do it is when they are doing ISO moves, particularly crossovers. Ex: if they're crossing over left to right their left hand usually brings the ball back a little, just as the dribble STARTS that's when I go for it. Careful though, missing it is going to test your inside defense. That's what's worked best for me so far.

DetroitD brother you are awesome. I throughly appreciate your comment.

I will work on that in practice actually! One of things though, my secondary team is Denver, and 2k9 still gave him the same crossover which of course he is known for. But, since everyone know's it, it should be the easiest to take away. ON 2k8 it definitely was when you'd get caught doing his crossover. So thanks for the advice.. I will definitely work on that..

Anyone else noticed anything yet????

It's all about timing, patience, and having a high basketball IQ.

I average about 6 steals a game and I reach maybe 7 times in a full game. You just have to know when to reach and not hack at the ball.

Watch the other players fatigue as well. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten steals in the fourth quarter because of others players poor fatigue usage of there players.

BTW, I still haven't been beaten online on the PS3 lol. If any of you are sim, add me and we can see if we can get a game going. If your a cheeser, then don't even try because my defense is on point.
