Is there a setting that allows you to see the numerical ratings for each player attribute in Association? When I press the left trigger all of the attributes have a question mark.

I can't stand the letter ratings. I would rather see the numerical ratings.

Is it possible to view the player ratings numerically in Association?

I second this question.

You have to scout the players before you see their numerical ratings.

You can do this in the Coaching menu, choose Player Scouting or something like that; or in the Scouting menu, where there should be draft scouting and player scouting. I think you are limited to 7 or 8 players scouted a month.

You have to scout your own players? How do you do this?

I'm referring to players already on my roster, not rookie prospects.

And yes, you do have to scout your own players on your team.

I'll give it a shot.

Thanks, Antaean.

No problem.

It actually caught me off guard too. I was thinking "why would I need to scout my own players?" but whatever, at least the player scout has something to do now, unlike last year :D

The ratings you get from Scouting are tendencies...not actual ratings....I personally could care less about what the player tends to do cuz I play the games and I have my own tendencies with each different player...

I want to know the actual ability of each player...why would you change the way it was in 2k8?? Now I find it very hard to judge the value of a player and btw wtf is with trading? why cant you see the interest level of the other teams? like in 2k8 there was a gauge that filled up if the team was interested in the trade....

With the new trading system i spend much more time making a simple trade....

Can some1 tell me about the Tendencies/Ratings issue because the whole scouting thing is tendencies and not ratings so therefore i dont need that...

I found the answer. Go to player scouting. Not prospect scouting. This will give you the ability to see all the ratings of your current roster.

You get ratings man, read the help topics 2K put in the game.

When you scout your players, you get their tendencies and ratings. You have to click down the Left Analog Stick (L3) to see the ratings. You have to do this where you can see a list of players, like at the Roster screen.

I just said that, but no one reads my posts anyway, so, yeah.
