I Have Seen Laser Arm and Leadership but I rarely see quick release. There is only one Qb in the Game that has it. Personally i think that it compinsates for three or four other attributes. What Do You Use And Why? Have You tried other things? Do you give them based on the real version of the QB? ALSO, How many of yall actually hold "A" before throwing a pass for "LaserArm" or "Whatever that other one is that I cant Remember." It takes a while and I throw faster than that. cant wait in the pocket ya know.

I like rocket arm and scrambler because I love to throw deep. Its just always been in my blood to attack the secondary from the first snap until the last. Scrambler because I like getting out of the pocket. Alot of people have a problem with this because Im good at getting out of the pocket and finding open receivers. Also i just hold onto the A botton from when i hike the ball. So if it gets fully charged than that would be nice but I throw the ball as soon as a see a receiver open I dont wait for it to fully charge before i throw.

Mine is obviously run coverage, when you average 23 picks per game its almost a necessity.

I usually charge my QB by pressing the "A" you mentioned. I prefer quick release and laser arm

I really like quick release. I created Joe Namath off Hitmans CAP list. He has QR and Clutch. He is awesome. I think in two games it helped me avoid 6 sacks. He could throw it away right before he got smacked.
Him to Maynard is DEADLY.

who doesn't like quick release?

It is the best ability bar none for QBs.

Super, you do know that if you hold A and manually do your QB drop the QB charges right away?

Here's a breakdown of the abilities as I view them.

Quick Release - Seems to combine Rocket Arm + Laser Arm with the addition of increasing the speed of the ball, both of which without requiring any charge up. This ability should NEVER be used by any player in the the league, unless they are a top 3 QB, and a Gold QB at that. There's a reason only ONE QB in the game (Dan Marino) received this ability.

Laser Arm - Second best ability to give to a QB. CAP QBs are going to throw errant passes for multiple reasons. They seem to throw bad when pressured, in clutch situations, or even for different patterns (slants vs. outs for example). Laser Arm allows players who don't understand how to put touch on the ball (throw hard, or soft) to complete passes they never could other wise. Players can charge this ability, then hold the button a long time, and basically get the effect of Rocket Arm (speed / power) with the addition of accuracy. Note that the speed / power you get isn't quite that of Rocket Arm, but it's pretty darn close.

Rocket Arm - Yes, this ability allows you to pass further, but for the most part, this ability is about 'speed'. It allows players to put the ball in a smaller window than a a QB could other wise. Without this ability, players will find it much more difficult to fit balls in the holes of defensive zones.

I'd like to add quick release is like Rocket, Laser, AND Scrambler combined. They set up so quick that they are better than scramblers throwing on the run, PA, or PA/RO. It's the reason Leeroy won't play with a CAP that doesn't have QR and the drop in his passing from normal leagues to DDD as he utilizes a lot of PA and PA/RO that without quick release leads to him being sacked or throwing errant throws.

yes sir I do. for me it complicates my reads and i end up pushin the wrong button for the wrong wr. Im a pure pocket passer, like Tom Brady.(not as cool though)

You want a wierd seldom used QB. Use Lynn Dickey. The only ability he has is Play Fake. I think I finally know what this ability icon does. It acts just like Quick release but only during Play Action. When he throws out of the pocket his arm speed is normal but out of play action it is faster than quick release. Try it out.
