Oh yeah, that was definitely inadvertent. He was just trying to defend himself.
(Pfffft.....)
The guy strafes along the line of scrimmage, squares up, and nails him in the chest (as best one can without wearing gear). Inadvertent? For an ex-Linebacker. I don't think so.

Yeah, you can actually see him take a step forward. Most refs, when they get hit, go backwards. This guys momentum carries him forward!
I just thought it was funny, because there's so many instances where a ref gets in the way in APF2K8.
