Help with PC Player Lock

Ok, I've been screwing around with 2K9 on PC for a couple of hours, and I'm lost as to how I'm supposed to engage player lock. The controls menu seems to suggest it's there, but I can't engage it. I'm using an Xbox 360 controller, and the 360 version's player lock (Y on controller set up screen) doesn't do squat. Anyone got an idea?? I'm dying trying to figure this out.

EDIT: Ok, since no one else seems to want to help, I FOUND THE ANSWER. Go to User Profiles on the main menu and select your profile. Simple as that, you'll get to set up Player Lock. I hope this answers the question for everyone who was curious!

the game 2k9 for the pc is great ,but im dumbfounded as to how u make a pc game that u cant play online,wtf was all of that about.shouldnt steam make a servr for us 2k9 players?

2k had to see if this game works for pc users.it's the first one.the next will have online play if everything goes good for the company.

Does anybody know how to improve your team chemistry on NBA 2k9? I have been trying to figure it out for a while but never could. The reason i want to know is because all my players are mad and i have been losing important games. Any help will be appreciated.
