i am looking at starting up a league called pick your poison( more on this concept later)
the rules will be based off of hitman's rules with some additions
1. no gold hb's
2. no 3 te set anywhere except inside the five yard line, and 3rd or 4th and inches
3. each team must have a gold on offense and on defense( unless you pick your poison)
4. this is the pick your poison rule, no players are banned but you are punished for taking a player from the overpowered/overused list.( see bottom for players, and the responding punishment)
5. Players that are eligible, any one from the game, any player off of hitman's cap list are welcome, and as a added twist, you can take a player from the list, and drop their tier, and just lose abilities as you go down, but no one from the list can be moved up a tier.
6. the fade route is banned, i have tried to justify this, but if you wanna go deep, call a straight go route, or a post the outside fade is banned
7. the hot route corner is also banned to the wide side, you can call a play with corners in it, but not the hot route corner, also speaking of hot routes, no hot routing until you and the defense have both come set at the line.
8. no quick snapping, at any time!!!! if you are picking a play and it is less then 10 seconds or less on the play clock either call a time out, or take the delay of game penalty. I believe that the defense should be given at least 3 seconds to make adjustments.
9. no controlling of legend dlineman, leads the them being way overpowered if all you have to do is charge up and pull a trigger, that is the same reason nobody likes gold rb's too easy to dominate with. you can control a generic dlineman all game if you want, but no legend dline control
10. the nano blitz, this is one that i would leave up to the league, i personally think that if you use this blitz, you should not be allowed to run bump man in conjunction with it, but if you use show blitz, you can not at any time take control of any blitzer, all manual blitzing must be done from the standard location that you come out of the huddle in.
11. the qb sneak is also going to be banned, so since it is banned the 5-2 nano blitz is banned as well reason being is the qb sneak is way too automatic, and that invites the 5-2 blitz as the only way to stop it, but if you dont do the qb sneak the blitzer gets in untouched for a easy takedown

if you pick a player from this list you forfeit the all golds and silvers from that side of the ball, basicially if you pick one of the offensive players from this list you then have to run with a all bronze offense, But here is where it gets interesting if you choose this option, you dont get to pick your golds and silvers on the other side of the ball, someone else in the league will, so if they wanna give you 5 olbs then they can. So you have to decide, is having metzellars worth going all bronze, and having someone pick your defense for you??
