Sell you game engine to someone who cares and will actually make a game with it.
Just holding that game engine hostage is not making you any money, either make a game or sell it someone who will.

I don't think anyone would buy the engine or make a football game. It's almost sure to lose money going up the NFL license / EA's Madden. Only way I see 2K or any other co. making money is if they make the game fully customizable, but will the 2K suits have the guts to take that chance?

It's about marketing, and frankly 2k is pathetic at it. Had 2k known how to market it's football games back in the day, there would be no madden today. The gameplay speaks for itself.

ha you think? Its not just 2k its Sega in general...
Just look at years past.. only successful console was Genesis.
What ever happened to Sega CD? Sega Saturn? Sega Nomad? Sega Game Gear? Sega Dreamcast?
They have always been ahead of there time hardware and software but lack of marketing has made them ALWAYS FAIL!
History Repeats Itself... Just look at the situation now...

yeah, i remember seeing a commercial for 2k5 maybe... 3 times? the THEYRE GONNA HAVE TO TAKE A TO and the quarterback does the BLACK 18 cadence.

Yeah it's truly sad. The game engine is so awesome.... is AFP just lost forever? Do they even care about us anymore?
