None that I know of yet. But try calling the 2K Sports U.S. Support Phone number: 1-866-219-9839. This is the only phone number I found where an actual person talks to you.
I suggest we all call this number and demand a product key!

that doesn't work... the customer service rep is actually British coz i think they're outsources to the UK o somefin. Also, you'll realize that the guy will keep saying "we don't deal with NBA 2k9 that much so you should call the US 2ksports customer service at 415-507-7750."
... And to our surprise... NO ONE WILL EVER ANSWER THE PHONE. Go figure...
Let's hope that Monday comes with some good news.

Ok since I'm dying to get this stupid game running, I continued my search for some contact info coz I need to get someone on the phone to explain this to. I managed to get his new number 415-479-3634 (not sure if you guys have it) and this is actually the operator to 2ksports. I'd say we keep calling and leaving messages and if you can try to enter any common names into the directory and when you get matches just work with it.
Main Objective: Get a human being on the line and don't hang up with them till you find the solution.
Ok soldiers you're on your own...

But what is the point of calling this number? This guy named Christian never answers his phone or returns any calls!! I think the only viable solution is for 2K Sports to ptovide us with product codes, don't you think?

Here is the latest. Christian from 2K Sports finally responded to my e-mails. He sent me a CD key, which worked like a charm!!:dance: So I have the game installed!
Hopefully you guys who contacted him via e-mail will get a response (with a CD key) from him very soon.

That's so easy to be settled.
All you need is create a vpn connection using a free vpn-provider found on the internet (secureIX, etc).
Once created the connection, connect ur pc to it, open 2k9 and try registering.
I dont have the PC version, but my solution seems to be the most reliable to overcome this issue till the official solution comes out.

SAME HERE... congrats to everyone... I got my Cd key from Christian today and I've been playing for the last 6 hours straight. I LOVE THIS GAME.
I think it's the best damn sports game out there on any console or PC... The gameplay is insane, it's real as hell, and it's just an amazing game to have.
Man I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and play again. Damn my eyes are hurting.
Worth the wait for sure.

yup, it's really frustrating...
the game has already released for a week, and we can't even install it..
even those with pirate version now start complaining about gameplay problems
while we can just see our game box lying on our table and we can do nothing about it.

I knew I should have stayed with Live...I tried to move on to something different and can't even play it. Live is so easy to customize and the fact I can install the game and play it PRICELESS.

Christian from 2K Sports e-mailed with a CD key a couple of days ago. He even called me on the phone yesterday. So he is replying to our e-mails and phone calls. It's just that he's probably flooded with e-mails and phone calls. He will get to you, but it may take some time. Hang in there, the game is certainly worth the wait!

Well, I waited about 5 days. You need to send an e-mail to customer service. Christian from 2K Sports will write you back with a CD key.
You'll just need to be patient. I know it's tough to wait all this time, but the game is surely worth the wait! Good luck!

Well, Im just like you guys. Living in Brazil, I still can`t install the game that I HAVE PAID for. They already got our money and gave us nothing but headaches in return. While we stay here they will still be chilling out, so my suggestion is to spread the word. T2 IS SCAMMING US! Go to gaming forums you know, tell your friends and most important go to Amazon.com, Gamestop, Bestbuy, and all major etailers you know and let everyone know:
1) That they are selling a faulty product that will not work outide North America;
2) The bad joke their customer support is (do they have one actually?)
Maybe when we mess with theur pockets (like they did with ours) they will remember that we exist.
By the way, I have emailed several times customersupport, techsupport, the store i bought the the game (got it directly from T2Store) and guess what? Not a single reply, of couse.
That`s it, spread the word guys!

I starting to feel we will not have a update, key, or anything guys..... face it, it`s too quiet, no official annoucement about this issue... not even the traditional bullsheet like `our devs are working hard to get this issue addressed bla bla bla`.... that`s it, they are just gonna wait for us to get tired of complaining. At least Im doing my part. 3 ppl at adrenaline (a brazilian gaming forum) were going to buy the game, but then I told them that they coudnt play if they did. T2 scammed me out of $20, o took at least 3 customers from them (worth $60). Good luck for us all!

My dad has just gone overseas (from Australia) and I was going to ask him to get the game while over there to bring back. Now after reading this thread I'm a little unsure. Should I bother asking him to get the game? If I do, should I send the e-mail to get the key prior to him getting back so I can play it right away? I'm a little confused as to what is going on and why installing the game outside of the US would make any difference. But I don't want to get the game if it's going to be a hassle (or possibly not work at all).
