Hi fellas !

I've been playing the pc version for over 3 days now. The first couple of bugs I noticed were related to the controllers. I use the XBOX 360 Wireless controller and I also used two types of keyboards, a wireless one and a standard usb keyboard. Here are the glitches I noticed this far and some ways to temporally fix them.

:thumbsdowBUGS\GLITCHES

- When starting the game a lag appears on the team selection screen.(not hardware related. Does not happen if you unplug the keyboard )
-When using both the keyboard and the controller on the team selection screen the keyboard shuts down. the clicking sound from windows occurs
-When first entering the game the analog sticks and triggers do not work. You have to start a game and then go back to main menu in order for them to work.
-GAME DOES NOT SUPPORT MULTI-CONTROLLERS When entering REPLAY using the keyboard you can only use the keyboard to navigate, move target, zoom. The controller does not respond. The same thing happens when entering REPLAY using the controller - can't use keyboard buttons. Could not use the controller in DUNK SCHOOL or DUNK CONTEST if I entered the respective game modes using keyboard

:thumbsup:TEMPORARY FIXES

- The first thing I recommend: if you have a wireless controller always start it before you start the game
- Another thing that fixes all the problems related to controls is unplugging the keyboard, though this is very frustrating. This method does not fix the trigger\analog problem. You have to enter a game for them to work.

I hope this helps. I will keep looking into this controller issues and I will keep you all posted. I really hope 2k takes a hard look at the test team(if it ever was one) who tested the PC version. How could you guys release this game with all this obvious bugs????

You mean like all companies release console games with obvious bugs now too?

Quality testing for video games has pretty much gone out the door. No one gives a rip anymore because they can just say "we'll try to fix it in a patch."

Console games used to be excluded from this, but these days they ship with as many problems as PC games.

Man, that's a stupid mentality from the companies, unfortunately the people who buy the game have to suffer. Maybe that's why 2k9 is so cheap. I'm just shocked because I, myself am a game tester and I work with mobile games in a soon-to-be extinct company but the strictness and quality of the testing is huge. We get in big trouble for a word that is spelled wrong but to have major slip-ups...man they would fire our asses. There's no patches for mobile games:) but still...i have to unplug my keyboard to play the game for Christ's sake !

I have the same wireless 360 controller for windows, and I have also noticed the same problem. You can also temporarily get around the bug by after loading 2K9, go into the 2K Nav Controller section, and re-configure one of the action keys, and then save the controller setting.
