First off let me say I bought the game because I figured I'd support someone who supports the platform I prefer to game on, the PC.
Secdly let me say I am already regreting it because nothing is worse than a company pushes out a game without any care as to what they put out.
My problem is this, my system is Vista 32bit, 3.0ghz dual core, GeForce8800GTS, 4gb ram. I have an Xbox 360 controller, that functions fine within Windows and is the preferred device. When I go into your game it shows me 3 options for control, Virtual HID Device, Xbox 360 Wireless Game Controller and Keyboard. No matter what I do it sets it to the Virtual HID Device. I can't set it for the 360 controller or the keyboard. I can select it but it will not keep ANY setting to the controller are. It does accept changes in other areas such as graphic settings though. I assume the Virtual HID Device is my Nostromo n52 but even with that disconnected it still try to use it but then again I can't even tell it to use the keyboard.
It's funny how people say PC gaming is dying because people pirate game. I truly think it is because PC gamers aren't 12 year olds who are fine when a game is a piece of crap because their mom bought it. PC gamers expect some sort of quality and when it isn't there they don't buy it. Maybe instead of game companies always blaming pirates they should look at themselves when they see stuff like this!
