Hello Everyone,
We have finished deploying our latest community upgrade and this one now links our 2K Forums with our 2K Community's account system.
Our first goal was to make our users only have a single login and password for all of our site. This means if you goto the forums, the online leagues, the online community portal or view/post a comment on someone's video that you will only need 1 single login and password to login to your account. No longer will you need a login for the 2k communities and a different login for the forums.
How it works
If you have an existing 2k community account and a 2k Sports Forums account, To link your account follow these steps
Goto "Online Community" and login.
Hover over your avatar and click "Edit My Account (http://community.2ksports.com/community/user/editaccount.cfm)"
Now click "Link Account" at the top.
Follow the instructions under "2k Sports Forums"
If you don't have a 2K Sports Community account but do have an existing 2k Sports Forum account, Simply login with your forums user name and password and follow the steps
If you don't have either a 2K Sports Community account and a 2K Sports Forum account, Simply click "Register" at the very top.
Once your account is link
Once you link your account, you will notice a change in your posts and the posts of others. We automatically display that users linked PS3 and/or Xbox 360 gamer tags. Below that all active leagues that the user is in, and the teams they are using.
Below your posts we quickly display "2k tabs". These tabs show that users latest uploads, 2k sports games played and recent 2k sports league games played.
We are very proud of these new features and hope our community enjoys them.
