Should I buys this laptop to play 2K9 on the PC?

After seeing all the cool things a that BBmylove has been able to do in terms of patching, I'm scrambling to sell my 360 and buy a gaming laptop. This is the one I'm looking at. What do yo guys think. How will the game run on this?

Either I can get a new one for $1,299 or I can try to haggle with this guy on craigslists to get him to sell to me for his used one for $1000. Here are the specs:

A big NO!! If you have that kind of money for a new PC I strongly suggest you to buy a desktop. Buy separate parts yourself and put it together if you can. Either way, at that price you can get a PC at least THRICE as fast as this laptop. If it has to be a laptop, then I can't say much about this. You wont be able to max out that game at the laptops native resolution.

If you plan to play on medium settings, then go for it. Otherwise, spend a lot more (4GB RAM & 8800GT chipset) for a real gaming laptop OR use that money for a killer desktop.
