hi. i bought my nba 2k9 for pc yesterday. although i know its a great game, i cant enjoy it because of the graphics. what seems to be the problem? here are the specs on my laptop: HP pavillion dv6000, AMD Turion64X2 MObile Technology TL-60(2 CPUs), - 2.0 GHz, 2gb RAM, DirectX 10, NVIDIA GeForce 7150M..

i am able to play it but EVERYTHING must be on low settings. the menus and in game presentations are very slow, the graphics stutters, but during the actual game play, it works fine. and recently, the graphics stutters and slows down after just a few minutes of playing, especially after i make some changes with the control set up..

please help. i would like to know if there is still a solution to this or i am stuck with what i have.

and how can i play without having to connect to the internet? it says internet connection needed for activation.. but why can't i play it offline? everytime i try to do so, it says steam cannot connect.

thanks!

It's slow because your computer is slow. If it was running acceptable on low before, try the usual defrag and basic computer maintenance.

Menus being slow is a glitch.

You can't play offline because Steam needs to validate the install every time you play I think, it uses Steam, which is an online service, to launch the game.

My fiance has the same computer, and that's how I play it. Just set resolution to 800x600 and bit depth to 16-bit. That's the best you're going to get man.
