I'm using the Logitech dual action controller for the PC version and it refuses to operate correctly. Any suggestions??? I can't move the players or control them.

I have the same problem. It defaults to the keyboard and I can't find how to switch to my controller. I heard somewhere that if you disconnect your mouse and keyboard then it will work. Stupid. I haven't tried it yet.

If I remember correctly, at least with my 360 wireless controller, the first time you load the game, you have to go to control setup, and configure your analog sticks.

First thing you want to do is make sure your Controller is calibrated. 2nd thing you want to do is go to Controller Setup from the Options Menu. Once inside Where it says Keyboard and Mouse click the arrow to the right it should give you the controller settings if it hasn't done so by default. The scroll down and setup your movement buttons as it was not setup for mine on install. Once you have all your buttons assigned. Save the configuration and go play.

Well actually I found it to be a bug in the game that when you create your profile it saves it in the second profile slot, which then defaults to the keyboard. I had to create a new profile in the first "profile" slot, then when going into a game I use the controller to move the correct profile over to the team. You can also change sides and controllers when in the game.

My problem now is that when I play a game it's like it's in practise mode and after every basket the play doesn't stop or go to the baseline. The points are scored but if like I score, the ball just drops and I can pick it up again and score again, and again. Must be something to do with practise mode. ??!!

Nevermind, just found the inbound glitch fix. For those of you who didn't find it, go into the save option and delete your settings, then quit and restart.

I have a 6-year-old gamepad with 12 buttons and 2 analog sticks. Even that old thing works well with NBA 2K9.
I tried on my desktop and my firend's laptop. It sill works.
You must calibrate it properly in the game to get it work.
And don't forget, whenever you make changes, save them. I.e., you changed settings, save them. I.e., you calibrated your gamepad, save settings again and again. That's all you should do.
Good luck.

does anyone know how to control the replay speed with a trigger-less game pad (dual action)? it seems very possible to use the right thumb stick to work in absence of the triggers ps3/x360 have (all it does now is exit replays). if not how do you do it with the keyboard and mouse?
