The chiefs of coach TemptTastic took on the Vikings of coach Soonersam.
It was a heated contest that was tied all the way until late in the 4th.
The Chiefs were deep in Viking territory with under 2 min. left.
Romo was flushed from the pocket by Jared Allen, He threw an errant pass, and was picked.
The Vikings made short work of scoring and held off the Chiefs 35-28.
Player of the game: Adrian Peterson, He ran all over my Defense. Look out for this guy!!
Good game Soonersam, I hate that we are division rivals because that means I have to face you again : (

Broncos 17- Chiefs 7
The Chiefs O made too many mistakes and the refs missed a pass interference call that resulted in an interception for the Broncos.
Something has got to change or else these Chiefs will be out of the playoff race before long!!!
The 1 bright spot has been the rookie Steven Woodbury, his consistent play has kept his team in the first 2 games.

San Diego Chargers Season Opening Report:
San Diego Chargers kick off season with win over Seahawks 28-9!
Two weeks before the season kicked off San Diego got news of a nightmare situation. All-World runningback and former NFLP MVP LaDainian Tomlinson was out for the season with a ruptured achilles tendon. One week after that the league vetoed the signing of veteran FA Roy Williams due to tampering issues. The offseason also saw the departure of several veterans who asked out of San Deigo including star line backer Shaun Phillips, and wide receiver Chris Chamber, for draft picks. The message was clear the team was rebuilding and it was getting as young as it could. The question was simple with all the youth, and lack of a player of Tomlinson's caliber in the lineup, could they Chargers still compete?
After a solid win over a quality division opponent the answer at least at the moment is a resounding yes. Coach Dtrain knew going into the game the key would be gaining seperation in the score early against a fantastic front seven. "We knew it would be heavy sleding against Kerney and company, so our goal was to get on the point early, and get a lead to make the Seahawks 1 dimensional. It wasn't easy but we had some big plays in the first quarter and took advantage. It was a good thing too because Coach Hitman made some excellent adjustments in the second half to lock down our offense."
The Chargers offense struggled save a few big plays by rookie FA Chaz "Chad Simmons" Schilens, who led the Chargers with 160 yards and 2 TDs. They key to the game was the play of the game MVP. Donovin Watson had 4 interceptions, including a game breaking 99 yard TD return. After the game Watson had this to say-" Coach told me coming into the season he needed me to step up. He said with LT2 out he needed more from the D, and said I need to lead by example. Once we got a lead I just played center field and was lucky enough to make some plays."
Team Grades:
Offense: C+
Would be a B, but coughed ball up on potential game icing drive inside 10 yard line, and a lack of balance made passing lanes tighten up in second half.
Defense: A
5 INTs, 2 Sacks, and 9 points against make for a good day. If teams are behind and forced to be 1 dimensional it could be a long day.
Overall: B
The Offense was bailed out by a lopsided score and ballhawking defense. Still in the first half the aerial attack was very dangerous. It could be a special year if the Bolts get it all going.
Look for more at the end of each quarter of the season.....

Just to let everyone know all my of my Seahawk Defenders will be available for trade this off season. I am tired of having a defense and calling all the right plays on that defense to watch people just eat it up with a Gold offensive player. I will look to out score you from now on.
When you have a Gold RB run 9 times with 8 of them being counters for almost 200 yards with 1 Gold LB, 1 Gold DE, 1 silver LB, 1 Silver DT, 1 Silver CB, 1 Bronze LB, and 1 Bronze CB and you can't stop a counter is plain stupid. so if you want any one of my defenders except Lofa than let me know.

Vikings' Quarterly Report
Game Recaps
@ K.C. Chiefs 35-28 win, AD runs wild, late Ben Leber INT seals the deal
@ Chicago Bears 24-3 win, after a slow first half Vikings take advantage of Bears mistakes and use a balanced offensive attack to win
vs. Miami Dolphins 22-6 win, defense steps it up as Jared Allen regains form and T-Jack picks apart the Dolphins' secondary
@ Oakland Raiders 28-21 win, AD and Jared Allen show season 2 form as both cause major problems for the Raiders, a couple timely Sharper INTs prove to be the difference maker
Offense
20 plus points every game is great and with the balance they have shown while doing it has been impressive. Peterson has been the RB that Viking fans love and everybody else hate with 543 yards and 9 TDs, but with the return of Travarius Jackson (768 passing yards, 6 TDs 1 INT) and the addition of Jason Witten the passing game has been almost as dangerous as the running game.
Grade A
Defense
They have turned in two dominating performances and a couple so so ones but even in those average games the turning points were turnovers. Sharper leads the way with 4 INTs, Williams and Leber both have 1. Jared Allen has been dominating with 8 sacks and has been a major influence on many other passes QBs have thrown. The defense has some holes but right not they have enough production to win their games.
Grade B
Overall
With the balanced offensive attack and some clutch defense whats not to like. After have notorious bad problems vs. the Bears the 24-3 win was a great way to exorcises some demons. As was avenging last seasons playoff loss to the Raiders. With a difficult schedule ahead a 4-0 start is a great way to start the season.

Black Hole - No Hope?
AP
OAKLAND - The Oakland Raiders entered the season excited about a team that remained largely intact after a trip to the 2nd round of the playoffs. The only notable changes were the release of veteran WR Ronald Curry, who became expendable after the drafting of mega-sized WR Yancey Peterson, and DE Derrick Burgess who is on the inactive list after suffering a strained pectoral muscle. In his place however they have highly touted rookie DE Marcus Simpson who the Raiders thought enough about to part with All-Pro CB Nnamdi Asomugha to be able to draft the 6'6" 290 lb DE. So what has been the result of losing a veteran leader in Nnamdi Asomugha and 24 sack DE Derrick Burgess?
1 win and 3 losses.
Not exactly what the Raiders expected heading into the season especially facing 3 teams that failed to make the playoffs last year in their first 4 games. Of those non-playoff teams the Raiders lost convincingly to the Pittsburgh Steelers allowing Parker to rush for 2 TDs and Rivers to throw only 1 incomplete pass and then a late TD loss to the worst team in the league last season, the Philadelphia Eagles. Their lone win came against the similarly futile Seattle Seahawks who are 0-3 and being coached by NFLHITMAN who missed the playoffs last year with the Kansas City Chiefs.... and the Raiders needed overtime and a superman performance from Darren McFadden just to squeak by the Seahawks. Oakland fought valiantly against the Vikings but Peterson, Ward, and Witten were too much in the end and gave the Raiders their 3rd loss in 4 games. So what's the matter?
1) QB Play - JaMarcus Russell has yet to take that leap forward into greatness. He has a pedestrian 76.7 QB rating and 4 TD compared to 5 INT. In most of the losses the INTs have been a key factor. Russell has got to make safer throws and quit forcing the ball to give this team a chance. If this continues he may find his role on the team reduced.
2) Defense - The loss of DE Derrick Burgess has been bigger than expected. DE Marcus Simpson is on pace for 4 sacks for the season while Derrick Burgess ended up with 24 sacks last season- 6 times more than the rookie DE. With the pass rush missing, teams have been able to take time to carve up the Raiders through the air in key 3rd down situations. When the Raiders commit more people to play the pass teams have been gashing them on the ground causing a vicious cycle.
3) Big Plays - Coaches often say the tide of a game is decided by the turnover battle and can be traced to 1 or 2 key plays. So far this season the Raiders have not shown the ability to make big plays and they have given up way too many. The Raiders as a team have 4 sacks, 1 INT, and 0 FF. In comparison, they have allowed opponents to force 5 turnovers and 11 sacks. You will lose more games than you win when those stats are stacked in the opponents favor.
So what is the outlook for the Raiders who play the schedule of a #1 seed? With San Diego bolting to a 3-0 start and their bay bridge rivals San Francisco 49ers at 2-1 the team looks head for its first non-playoff season in league history. There is still plenty of time left but will they be able to correct these problems? I wouldn't bet on it.

turbulant times in tampa???
The bucs suffered their 3rd straight defeat, and found a new way to lose in doing so. This time the kicking game straight up killed them, with two missed field goals, and a missed xp. this season is looking a lot like the 2000 tampa season, where the defense did their job. (3 of 4 opponents held under 20 points) and the offense can't put up any points. and we all know what happened at the end of that season, tony dungy was removed from his post, Is coach twosilk headed that way???
espn's suzy kolber was able to catch up with him during his weekly **** hottub soak, here are some snippets from that interview:
SUZY: Coach the rumors have been swirling that you may not survive another sub .500 seasons, any thing to these rumors??
TWOSILK: well suzy, all I can do is go out and get this team to play hard, and not make the mistakes, but we have been in every game but just don't have the experience to make plays yet. I mean on offense we have a rookie quarterback, two 2nd year wr's, and a te coming back from season off due to staph infection, this will take time.
SUZY: You have come under fire for not giving brian westbrook his carries, is there a reason behind that??
TWOSILK: Hard to ask him to run thru nine man fronts, and that is what we have been facing all season. cedric (cunningham) has made some great audibles, and we have a long season ahead, and I expect as cedric's stats improve, those safeties wont be so eager to drop down into the box.
SUZY: Last question, what would you grade your team so far??
TWOSILK: Well I would have to give my defense a A, despite the kansas city game, they have been solid all season, not allowing a 100 yard rusher all season, but the lack of pass rush has been a killer, early season defensive mvp? FS jermaine phillips, he has been all over the field
offense, C- very simple, no consistency, early season mvp? probably Filip Fuata, leading the team in receptions, and being our only 3rd down threat.
Ok Suzy get out them clothes, and let me see what's under that ESPN blazer!!!!!!

Kansas City Chiefs Early season Report:
The Chiefs finally got their 1st win against the Buccaneers. Sitting at 1-2 there is still alot of work, but there is reason for optimism.
Offensive Grade:B : The passing game has been great with Tony Romo getting the ball to his rookie phenom TE Steven Woodbury, who is making a strong case for Rookie of the Year. The running game, even with Fred Taylor has had a slow start, but hopefully things will pick up.
Defensive Grade:C : While they hav only given up more than 20 in 1 game so far, the defense has made too many mistakes, especially late in games. Without any standout players on this side of the ball it could be a long season.
Projected Record: 7-9

San Diego Chargers Quarterly Report
Four Weeks into the season and San Diego has yet to suffer a loss. The Chargers are winning hard fought games in a manner they aren't used too under the tenure of Coach Dtrain. They are winning with defense. No opponent has scored more the 14 points on the Bolts this season, quite a change from a unit that averaged close to 30 points against a game in each of Dtrain's first 3 seasons.
If the Defense can continue to play like this, as the offense continues to improve this may be the Chargers team that finally wins the always tough West, and makes a deep run in the playoffs.
The Break Down:
Offense:
Ben Roethlisberger is playing great football early, and is on pace for 3200 yards and 36 TD's. It helps that he has some play makers to throw too, as Antonio Gates continues to be a presense in the middle a new star may be rising. Rookie WR Chad Simmons has been simply amazing averaging over 100 yards a game, and amassing 6 TDs through 4 weeks.
The Chargers are still working out the kinks in the Tomlinsonless running game, but they seem to be figuring out the right split of carries between Thornton and Jones. If they can get the running game up to par with the passing game this team will be very hard to stop.
Grade: B
Defense:
"Simply the best defensive unit I have ever coached", said the 4 year Coach. The defense is only allowing 175 Passing YPG, 63 Rushing YPG, and 12.5 PPG, along with 2 turnovers a game. The amazing defense is also the youngest in the league, with 3rd year "veteran" Donovin Watson being the oldest active player on the squad. Also starting on the defense are 3 rookies along with 2nd year CB Alvin Carter. Watson leads by example, already amassing 5 INTs and a team leading 18 tackles, proving to be a menace for opposing offensive coordinators across the NFLP. The other safety, rookie, Thomas Smith has been just as productive, amassing 17 tackles, and 2INTs. The "Bash Brothers" as they have been affectionatly deemed by Chargers fans, are the most terrifying Safety dou in recent league history.
Grade: A+
Overall:
Hard to argue with 4-0 but there is always room for improvement. The team needs to find better balance on offense, to take some pressure off of the hard nosed defense. Every unit has a bad day, and when it happens the Chargers need the offense to be able to pick up the slack.

Seattle Seahawks finally win a game!!!!
The Seahawks behind to huge plays by the Defense come out with a 25-21 victory over the 49ers in Candlestick! With the 49ers backed up inside there own 5 yard line went for a pass play on a 3rd and long play. Julian Peterson runs around the line and BANG! hit the 49ers QB for a safety. Seahawks now lead 9-7. Seahawks get the ball after the safety and go 3 and out :( Seahawks punt the ball inside the 49er 10 yard line and after 2 plays for no gain or loss go with a pass on 3rd down and BANG! Patrick Kerney from the other side for another safety! Seahawks up 11-7. 3rd Quarter starts and Seahawks get inside 49er territory and on 3rd and short convert a run with Wayne Bruschi the generic RB for a 40 yard run for a TD!! Seahawks now lead 18-7. 49ers comeback and score on a deep ball to Isaac Bruuuce in doubkle coverage for a TD bringing the score to 18-14. Seahawks get the ball in 49er field goal range and on 3rd and inches go for a pass play and caught the 49ers siiting in a low zone and connected with Nate Burleson for a TD. Seahawks now winning 25-14. 49ers comeback and throw a laser to a generic who took it the distance!! Seahawks 25 - 49ers 21. 49ers go for onside kick and they recover it!!!!! One big pass play go them into midfield. 2nd play Leroy Hill picked off the 49er QB to seal the deal as he was going for Frank Gore on a streak!
Coach NFLHITMAN had this to say after the game.... Right when i lose all hope in our defense they make the plays that win the game for us!! Kerney and Company will be looking for new blood soon!!!!

Power Rankings
THE TOP 10
1. Dallas Cowboys (4-1)
The defending champs stumbled slightly out the gates, but have since recovered. Led by super stud running back Larry Johnson this team is always one snap away from a big play. The Cowboys have a efficient passing game to add balance, are getting just enough stops by there defense to win games. The weeks ahead will be trying as the Cowboys still play the Patriots, Titans, and down on there luck but always difficult Raiders.
2. San Diego Chargers (5-0)
Off to there best start in 4 seasons the Chargers are at there highest point ever in the rankings. A shift from the high powered offensive philosophy of season past to a hard nosed defense first mentality seems to be the reason. Playing in what is perennially the toughest division in the NFLP means that even at 5-0 they can't be comfortable. Still the team looks strong, and has been playing well on both side of the ball.
3. Minnesota Vikings (4-2)
Typically a slow starting team the Vikings sped off to a 4-0 start, before losing first to the Dallas Cowboys, and then in quite possibly a "trap" game to the Denver Broncos. When they're good they are real good, and when they're bad they are worse. If the Vikings can work out the personality disorters look for another strong finish from the three time MidUSA division champions.
4. Chicago Bears (4-2)
The Bears find themselves in what early on seems to be a two horse race for the MidUSA division. It no surprise that like the Vikings, Chicago lays claim to one of the fiercest defensive ends in the game today. O-Gun is a freak of nature on pace for 39 sacks this season. They have a gifted receiver to stretch the field, and if the Bears are playing with the lead it will be a very, very long day for there opponents.
5. New England Patriots (1-0)
Rank based on reputation/prior seasons. More detailed report after the Patriots play some games.
6. Philadelphia Eagles (2-1)
The Eagles are soaring high behind a deadly aerial attack. The Eagles can score quickly and with out warning and is in every game because of this. The lone blemish on their record came against Dallas who scored on a miraculous 60 yard run as time expired. The big question mark for this team is its defense. If they don't learn how to make some stops it will be a very long trying season for Philly.
7. Tennessee Titans (0-0)
Rank based on reputation/prior seasons. More detailed report after the Patriots play some games.
8. Houston Texans (2-0)
Nothing flashy about the Texans so far, just 2 solid wins. The division is a up hill battle as they have to play the Cowboys twice. The team relied heavily on a hard nosed defense holding teams to under 10 points in each of their first two games. The team has no where to go but up if the D continues its tough play as the offense works out its kinks.
9. New Orleans Saints (2-0)
The Saints are another team floating around just off the radar of most people. Through 2 games the Saints are +5 in the turnover margin, and thats a great way to keep winning games. The real test will be within their own division when they face the Cowboys, and Texans twice still this season.
10. San Francisco 49ers (2-2)
A better team then the record shows, the 49ers have simply beat themselves so far this season. A couple of mental lapses (AI issues), couple with a few poorly time turnovers have this tough West team reeling here early in the season. It remains to be seen if they can bounce back. However the season is a long winding road, and anything can happen.
All the Rest
11. Atlanta Falcons (1-0)
12. Indianapolis Colts (2-4)
13. Miami Dolphins (1-2)
14. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4)
15. Oakland Raiders (1-3)
16. Seattle Seahawks (1-3)
17. Kansas City Chiefs
18. Denver Broncos (2-7)
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-4)
20. Arizona Cardinals (0-0)

49ers.com PRESS RELEASE (HOME OF THE 5 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS)
After the sudden resignation of Coach Birdman1702, the 49ers fell into a freefall as the NFLP season ended with the storied franchise missing the playoffs for the first time in NFLP History. Owner John York made a decision to bring back Coach afflixtion, who was 1/2 game away from the west division title in NFLP 1.
"It feels great to be back with the 49ers organization," says Coach affliXtion. "I have a great rapport with these guys and I cant wait to get things rolling."
Changes need to be made in the team gameplan as solid Silver CB Nate Clements was forced to regress to bronze and Gold studs Frank Gore and Patrick Willis are now on retirement watch after poor seasons
Q & A with Coach affliXtion
How does playing with a 2 ability Frank Gore and Patrick Willis affect playcalling?
"We need Gore and Willis to be a full strength" says Coach affliXtion. "We are going to be at a disadvantage in every game we play this season but the fans have to understand that this is a rebuilding year for the 49ers. I know some have questioned our team setup but we are trying to ensure that our main core stays on the team and allows us to be competitive for NFLP 5. Winning games is our #1 goal but maintaing progressions is goal 1A. We are 2-2 right now but we are on pace with progressions with almost everyone"
How will the additions of Tony Gonzalez and Troy Polamalu affect the team?
"The trades for Tony Gonzalez and Troy Polamalu were backup plans for us. We will have to make a decision on them in the offseason. Most likely, Polamalu will be a Silver. Tony's status is more up in the air because we may go a different direction next season."
Do you think you can appease the Niner faithful and make the playoffs this year?
"I think we have a chance...there is a long way go go but we have to eliminate our mental mistakes which have cost us our two losses. If we clean up the mental mistakes then we will be able to make a run. I figure that we will go 7-9 or 8-8 and with our deficiences on offense, that should give us confidence heading into next season."
At the quarter mark of NFLP 4, lets take a look at the star players for the 49ers and grade their performance.
OFFENSE:
#21 RB Frank Gore (69 rushes, 446 yards. 5 TD, 6.5 YPC) - Even with every defense stacking the box, Gore is moving the chains effectively but not dominantly. Needs to catch better in the passing game. Must get touches for the Niners to have any chance to win. GRADE: B
#88 WR Issac Bruce (9 receptions, 222 yards, 2 TD, 24.7 YPC) GRADE: B-
#85 TE Vernon Davis (9 receptions, 215 yards, 1 TD, 23.9 YPC) - When Vernon gets into open space it is a burden to bring him down. The problem is that Darrell Allen cant get him the ball even when he is open. Also a solid blocker for Frank Gore. GRADE: A-
coming soon.....
DEFENSE
#52 MLB Patrick Willis (11 tackles, 2 INT, 2 PD) - Willis is having a solid season, especally in coverage. Tends to get blocked too often on runs but for a 2 ability Gold he is playing well. GRADE: B+
#27 CB Walt Harris (9 tackles, 2 PD) - aside from the one blown play where Harris tripped against the Chargers, he has been solid as a rock covering his side of the field. A steady perfromer who should have no problem remaining consistent over the rest of the season. GRADE: A
#99 OLB Manny Lawson (11 tackles, 1 PD, 1 INT) - His blazing speed causes him to sometimes misread the play. This forces him to chase down the opposition rather than stuffing them for minimal gains. GRADE: C+
#22 CB Nate Clements (11 tackles, 1 sack, 1 TFL) - Nate is primarily manning the Nickel CB position in the base 3-3 formation and he is doing an excellent job of helping to shield opposing TE's from making big plays. He is also reliable in run coverage. GRADE: A-
#36 CB Shawntae Spencer (6 tackles, 4 PD) - mainly playing on 2nd level WR's, Spencer has been picked on by opposing QB's all season long and may be the weak link in the defensive secondary. Could find himself on the bench for season 5. GRADE: D+
#32 SS Michael Lewis (10 tackles) - Has been adequate in the run but his liability in the passing games has allowed opposing WR's to get big yards in a flash. GRADE: D
#98 OLB Parys Haralson (18 tackles, 1 sack) - Replacing Tully Banta-Cain in the LB unit, Haralson's quickness has enabled him to pressure the passer, provide help coverage, and make solid tackles. A great find for the future of the Niners franchise. GRADE: B+

Indianapolis saves season after pulling out lucky OT win
Trailing by a touchdown with less than 10 seconds left in their game against Kansas City, Peyton Manning broke out of his slump completing a 10 yard pass to star reciever Marvin Harrison for the game tying touchdown. But wait a second! The extra point is blocked with 3 seconds left in the game! Luckily for the struckiling Colts, the ball managed to pass the crossbar by a few yards to send the game to OT, 35-35
Unfortunatly, the the Chiefs and their high-powered offense win the toss and immiadetly begin driving down the field. The colts defense, which was terrible all game and all season finally hold at their own three yard line, creating an easy 20 yard field goal for the win. Coach maize, hoping for a miracle tries to ice the kicker to give himself a chance and amazing the Chiefs kicker choked! Missed 20 yard field goal off the left upright! The Colts capitalized on the oppurtunity as Manning connected with Harrison again for a 30 yard touchdown for the win.
After the game, coach Maize had this to say, "I know it's early to call a game a must win, but this game was. Our team was struggling and needed this game to turn things around. We capitalized on some mistakes and were able to leave with a win."
Unfortunately, the Colts were unable to build on the win after losing a close game to the Raiders, 18-14 after gaining a woeful 96 yards on offense, scoring on two pick-sixes. This loss dropped their record to 2-5 with many tough games left on the schedule. This team must improve if they want to make the playoffs.

San Diego Chargers Mid Season Report
The Chargers Defense has worn down a bit, after 6 straight wins along with 6 straight games holding there opponent to 14 points or less, allowing 30+ points in back to back losses. Coach Dtrain isn't that concerned. "We kinda shot ourselves in the foot the last two weeks. Especially in the division loss to Oakland. We had them, but some costly turnovers kept them in the game. Hats off to Coach Flaxwless, the way Oakland's season has gone he could have easily packed it in early in that game. I still believe in this defense, we just need to do a bteer job protecting the ball when we have it. Keep our defensive unit fresh and take some pressure off of them." The Chargers still have a comanding lead in the West, but have some difficult games left to play.
The Break Down:
Offense:
Turnovers were a non issue in the first 6 games, but in the last 2 losses the Chargers are -5 in the turnover department. If they can get that under control they will alright. If not it will be a long second half.
The running game has yet to develope, and more passing means more opportunities for errors by Ben Roethlisberger. Right now the game plan is about 66/33 in favor of passing. Look for this split to be closer to 55/45 in the coming weeks.
Grade: B-
Defense:
Still a phenominal defensive unit, they have just seen the field a little too often in the last few weeks. Short fields off of turnovers, and a lot of minutes make it tougher to lock down the field. If the offense can right its ship then the defense should follow suit.
Grade: B
Overall:
6-2 is a very good record at the mid way point, so the Chargers are still pretty happy with themselves. However back to back losses against potential playoff teams is a something to be concerned about. With three division games left, as well as the Patriots, and Titans still on the schedule, the Bolts need to adjust on offense quickly or they could find themselves outside of the playoffs for the first time in the history of the NFLP.
Grade: B-

I am not in your league but I enjoy reading the team and league info. It is a shame what HITMAN does with generic HBs.

Seattle Seahawks Weekly Report:
After starting the season out 0-3 the Seahawks lead by NFLHITMAN has won 2 straight games! The beat there rival ( 49ers ) and just barely beat the high flying Eagles. The defense who is 4th in the league in Team Sacks with half the games of the teams in front of them have been doing it with pressure. Patrick Kerney Leads the team is Sacks with 7.5 in 5 games. If you drop back in to your end zone beware of the Seahawks as they have won a game against the 49ers by 4 points that the Seahawks got by 2 Safeties. Since the press release that the Defense would be traded in the off season they have stepped up in hopes that they may return. Seneca Wallace has turned the corner as the undeniable leader of the offense with Back 2 Back great games. He was on record saying that the Charger game was a wake up call and he needed better play from his position. Seneca Wallace who had 1 TD and like 5 interception has balanced out his stats and has 1,079 yards with 6 TD's and 8 INT's in only 5 games. John Carlson the Rookie sensation at TE has been spectacular and has 16 Receptions, 396 yards, 24.8 YPC, and 3 TD's. He is the Seahawks go to guy! Nate Burleson is right there with him and is the Seahawks BIG PLAY guy on the outside. Burleson has 19 receptions, 366 yards, 19.3 YPC, and 2 TD's in 5 games. Jordan Kent is the a guy with so much Raw potential with the height to create many problems for the secondary. Lofa Tatupu leads the team in tackles with 14 through 5 games. He is more than a tackling machine with 1 sack and 5 passes defended. Not to say the other LB's are not doing there job as all 3 of them have double digit tackles with Julian Peterson with 2.5 sacks and 1 interception while Leroy Hill has 1 interception and 3 pass defended. Kelly Jennings leads the team with 2 interceptions playing opposite of Trufant. People seem afraid to throw Trufants side and has lead to Jennings getting more looks. Rocky Bernard has been collapsing the pocket play after play and allowing Peterson and Kerney to come off the edges and create havoc. Wayne Bruschi is the un sung hero of the team. Bruschi leads the team in rushing with 44 attempts for 155 yards with a 40 yard explosion for a TD to seal a win against the 49ers.
If the Seahawks can keep up with there recent play they might be able to squeeze into the playoffs!

Record
6-2
Game Recaps
@ Dallas Cowboys 13-24 loss, AD bottled up, Vikings defense unable to slow down Larry Johnson, late rally by T Jack not enough
@ Denver Broncos 14-19 loss, sloppy play as offense is never able to get on track, late fumble by Hines Ward proves to be costly
vs. Denver Broncos 28-10 win, passing game is poor, but AD carries the load as the defense makes enough plays to get the win
vs. Chicago Bears 31-10 win, Vikings complete revenge of last years sweep behind the legs of Adrian Peterson and a suffocating defensive performance on Braylon Edwards
Offense
T Jack has come back to earth with more INTs and a horrid performance over the past 4 games. Ward and Witten's production have both suffered from this. AD has stepped it up after being slowed in back to back losses with 2 games totaling over 500 yards.
Offensive MVP - Adrian Peterson 1160 yards, 10.2 average 18 total TDs

Jared Allen is quietly having one of the best performance with a pace for 27 sacks and many QBs will attest his pressure has lead to a lot of the Vikings 15 INTs. Darren Sharper is a ageless wonder with a team high 31 solo tackles and 6 INTs (tied for the league lead).

Special Generic report
CB Morris Green has been a big time player for the Vikings as he adds a 3rd "legend" to their secondary. He has played the best vs the best as he has slowed down the dangerous Braylon Edwards. He leads the league with 9 passes defended and has 3 INTs.
The Vikings have put themselves in the Mid-America driver's seat with a key tie breaker over the Bears. They still face difficult games vs. the Patriots, Titans and Texans just to name a few. Barring a major melt down the Vikings look to make the playoffs once again.

NFLP Falcons stumble out the gates 1-2
The NFLP Falcons opened their first NFLP season on October 30 vs the Broncos. Gone were the Falcons of old; no #7, 28, 21 or 83, replaced by youngsters, a big $$ RB and other new signings.
The Falcons won 30-14 over the Broncos with 3 rushing TD’s and 4 INT’s by the defense.
Game two was played vs the Bolts and lost 21-14. A pick 6 by Bolt safety Smith was the winning play.
Game 3; a 42-38 barnburner loss to the Vikings. No defense allowed, last team with the ball wins basically.
After 3 games, Coach K is not disheartened at 1-2 and keys thus far are these:
- RB Turner’s is earning his $$, scoring TD’s and racking up huge yards.
- Young QB Ryan is improving & getting the ball out his hand quickly.
- After a slow start to the season, WR White had a huge game vs the Vikings
- The Falcon defense is giving up too many big plays so changes must be made
Upcoming battles in the South are up soon, so if the Falcons can tighten up the D things could interesting.

Can the Philadelphia Eagles defense step it up?
After a 2-0 start the eagles have lost 3 games straight all starting with a unbelievable lose against Dallas. With less then 20 seconds in the game Larry Johnson managed to break a 60 yard run to win the game after A.J. Goodwin of the Eagles pulled off a great game winning drive. He also did the same thing in the previous game against the Raiders with a great 4th quarter winning drive. It showed the past 3 games that the Eagles offense cant bail the defense out of every single game. In 5 games A.J. Goodwin showed why the eagles drafted him #1 in the draft completing 62% of his passes with 1284 yards 15 touchdowns and only 6 INTs. Randy Moss an offseason acquisition has been showing off his skills averaging over 100 receiving yards a game with 8 touchdown receptions. DeSean Jackson has been double and triple covered all season leaving Kevin Curtis a Randy Moss single covered on the outside allowing them to have the great numbers they have. The NFLP 3 offensive player of the year has racked up 399 yards on 27 receptions with 5 touchdowns showing he can still get open no matter how many people are covering him. He has also returned a kick for 94 yards for a touchdown.
The only good thing to say about this Eagles defense is that the defensive backs sure know how to defend the pass. After 5 games they have racked up a total of 6 INTs with 19 passes defended. If they can get there rush defense down this Eagles team can easily win the rest of the games with there deadly passing attack.

Colts Split Season Series with Eagles
After two consecutive games with a 41-27 score, the Colts are now 3-6 and hoping they have turned a corner in their season. In both games, the offenses were practically unstopable. In the first game, Peyton Manning threw for 371 yards with two touchdowns and a 96.9 QB rating and A.J Goodwin threw for 359 yards, 3 TDs, no INTS, and a QB rating of 154.9. Overall 5 recievers went over 100 yards in the game. The Colts hopes for a comeback were ended as Dallas Clark dropped a pass in the endzone, which was intercepted.
In the rematch, Manning had his best game of the season by far throwing for 370 yards, 5 TDs, no picks, and a near perfect 157.5. Goodwin also had a great follow-up performance with 320 yards, 3 TDs and a QB rating of 127.1. The game was over when Marlon Jackson got his first pick of the season with a minute remaing.

Colts Season Grades:
Quarterback: C: Peyton Manning started out slow this season, but appears to be back on the right track. Overall he has sub-par numbers with 13 TDs and 17 Ints, while averaging 225 yards a game. However, over his last 4 games he has had 11 TDs with only 3 Ints.
Running Back: B- : Solid, but somewhat inconsistent player, Addai has had his carries limited to do the infective play of the defense and the need to pass. He has averaged 56 yards a game, with 7 TDs and 5.2 yards a carry with 10 receptions and 157 recieving yards.
Reicevers: B : Inconstinency has been the trademark of the Colts offense so far and the recievers have shown that as well. They have been able to get open pretty well and the Colts big three (Wayne, Harrison, and Clark) each have around 500 yards recieving. However, the these three have also combined for a total of 14 drops, including 9 from TE Dallas Clark.
Offensive Line: B : The oline as a whole has played well, opening open enough holes for Addai while only allowing a solid 12 sacks.
Defensive Line: B+ : The overall best playing unit on the team, forcing 19 sacks. Dwight Freeney has stood out as the best player on the defense with 9.5 sacks and 20 total tackles.
Linebackers: C : The Colts linebacking corps has been extremely weak. They have struckled in pursuit and have had way too many missed tackles, allowing almost 100 yards per game on the ground.
Defensive Backs: D+ : Despite being lead by star safety Bob Sanders, the defensive backs for the Colts have been embarrassed too many times. The DBs consistanly find themselves taking bad angles in pursuit and in bad positions against the pass. The Colts have allowed more than 200 yards a game through the air and have only 7 picks and 9 total turnovers on top of that.
Overall: C: The Colts have had ups and downs this season and need to become more consistent as a whole if they want to have a shot at the playoffs.

The Philadelphia Eagles fight back to a .500 record standing at 4-4. Still after 8 games it seems like the defense still hasnt awaken allowing over 21 points a game until there last meeting against the Chargers where the Philadelphia Eagles defense only allowed 13 points. Once again the offense is the only part of this team giving them wins. This team could easily be standing at 8-0 right now if there defense could just cause some 3 and outs. The reigning Offensive player of the year has gotten into a Rythm after recording his 2nd 200 yard receiving game in only 8 games. He has rushed for 2 touchdowns both in the same game while returning 3 kicks for touchdowns. The playmakers on offense want a ring on there finger but it doesnt seem like the defense wants a ring. This will probably be the defensive coordinators last season on the Philadelphia Eagles sideline if he cant rally his troops for the second half of the season.
So far here are some key stats after 8 games.
A.J. Goodwin 123.2 QB rating 63% completion 2087 yards 22 TDs and 9 INTs. Another key stat is that this quarterback has only been sacked 11 times and he has droped back 173 times. Argueably the best rookie in the league this year. Throwing 22 touchdowns through 8 games and he looks like he has been playing in NFLP since the league first started.
Randy Moss 34 receptions for 888 yards 11 touchdowns. Is a great offseason aquisition for the Eagles. Leads the team in receiving yards and causes great mismatches with his size.
DeSean Jackson 42 receptions for 775 yards with 8 touchdowns. He also has 905 kick return yards with 3 touchdowns. Also Jackson has 2 rushing touchdowns. Once again DeSean Jackson shows why he won Offensive player of the year. He leads the Eagles with 13 total touchdowns through 8 games. Can he break another record this season with 32 total touchdowns?
Correll Buckhalter 40 att 269 yards 6.7 avg 2 TD 14 receptions 139 yards 1 touchdown. His stats dont seem great but Correll has proven to be a great pass blocking back allowing A.J. to have all the time in the pocket to find his star receivers.
Quintin Mikell 38 tkls 3 PD 1 INT. He has proven to be a great SS leading the team in tackles and seems to be the most consistant player on the team next to Omar Gaither.

ESPN.com Special Fantasy Outlook: Team Spotlight
This week: The San Diego Chargers
At 8-4 the Chargers have themselves in the mist of a playoff run. As such the players on this team are hot commodities in the fantasy world. Let's take a quick look at how everyone has done starting with the offense.
QB- Ben Roethlisberger: A top fantasy QB, Big Ben is in the top 5 in most statistical catagories at this point in the season. Roethlisberger is on pace for 3100 yards and 30 TDs this season. A few tough games in row have some fantasy owners concerned, but look for some big numbers as the Fantasy playoffs arrive.
HB- Dwayne Thornton: Helping his team win, is not the same as helping out fanasty players. While he is doing everything asked of him by the Chargers organization, it just isn't enough to warrant a starting spot in your fantasy lineup. Thornton is on pace to gain 800+ yards and 7 TD's.
WR- Chad Simmons: The rookie is simply one of the hottest wide outs in the game this season. Making some owners ask Antonio who? Chad Simmons is on pace for 1400 yards and 13 TD's.
TE- Antonio Gates: Despite seeing double coverage week in and week out gates has scored a TD in 6 consecutive games to bring his season total to 12, and his presense has opened up the door for Chad Simmons to find single coverage most of the time.
Lets take a look at the team defense:
The defense has scored a league leading 5 touch downs.
Ranks 7th in the league with 15 sacks.
Is second in the league with 21 INTs.
6th in the league with 36 tackles for a loss.
Leads the league with 4 fumble recoveries.
Only allowing 17 points per game.
The Chargers seem to have it going on both sides of the ball, and look to finish strong which bodes well for fantasy owners who have a piece of there action.
If you have a Charger on your fantasy team, its probably a safe bet to have them in your starting lineup as the season comes to a close.

Philadelphia can run the ball???
Most coaches would usually just gameplan against stopping Randy Moss and DeSean Jackson when they play the eagles. But now the Philadelphia Eagles have put together and running game. There star running back Correll Buckhalter just racked in over 150 yards rushing while the passing game still put up its usually 300+. There running back has racked in 558 rushing yards on 62 attempts averaging 9 ypc. He also has 175 receiving yards averaging 9.6 ypc. Randy Moss is on the verge of breaking the receiving record his fellow team mate broke last season. After 11 games he has 1522 yards on 19 touchdowns while the current record holder has only racked in 898 yards. with 11 touchdowns. Randy Moss loves all the attention Jackson is getting which is allowing him to have the great numbers. Moss said in an interview with reporters that he would of never been able to do it without Jackson on the other side of the field and of course A.J. throwing nearly perfect passes to me every game.
The bad news is the defense has gone into a slump again putting the game in the offense hands once again.
The good news is the Eagles still have a 4 game win streak going and there record now stands at 7-4.

Power Rankings
THE TOP 10
1. Dallas Cowboys (9-1)
After losing the first game of the season the Cowboys squashed any doubts about who is the front runner for this years Championship by winning 9 straight games. Leading the way is Larry Johnson who has amassed 1297 yards and 12 TDs on the ground. Despite trading All Pro CB Terrence Newman in the offseason the defense has a league leading 24 interceptions, and the leagues leading sack artist, Mario Williams, who has 19, thanks to that transaction. The Cowboys still have some tough games left, but look for a strong finish from the class of the league. Final prediction: 14-2
2. Minnesota Vikings (7-2)
After a slight stumble the Vikings have ripped off 3 straight victories including two decisive wins against division opponents. The Vikings went back to the basics of their identity to restore the winning ways, putting it on the shoulders of the NFLP's all time leading rusher Adrian Peterson. The Vikings are on the verge of a 4th consecutive division title, but still have to face to division #1 seeds. Final predicition: 11-5
3. Chicago Bears (7-3)
The Monsters of the Midway are living up to the nickname. They have one of the most feared defenses in all of the NFLP, anchored by defensive end, Adewale Ogunleye who already has 18.5 sacks on the year. A balanced offensive attack is led by Braylon Edwards who is always one pass away from putting 6 points on the board. The Bears may have to settle for a wild card berth however after losing both games to the division front runner, and rival Vikings. Final prediction: 11-5
4. San Diego Chargers (9-4)
The San Diego Chargers came roaring out of the gates winning their first 6 games only to stumble at the mid point. After losing 2 of six the Chargers, have bounced back, winning in sound fashion over perinial title contenders Tennessee, and New England by a combined score of 58-14. With one division game left the Chargers once again look poised to take the West division crown for the first time in team history. Final prediction: 10-6
5. Philadelphia Eagles (7-4)
The Eagles are still flying high thanks to an aerial attack that is averaging 265 yards and 3 touch downs a game. The question is can Coach Ballin make it through the season with out having a heart attack. The "Cardiac Kids" have had 5 games settled by 3 points or less. Come playoff time the Eagles will need help from the defense. Final prediction: 10-6
6. Oakland Raiders (5-4)
After a terrible start the Raiders have won 4 of 5 and are gear for a run at the West division crown. The Raiders are playing like a veteran team, simply finding ways to grit out wins despite poor quarterback play, and the teams worst defense in 4 years. With a grueling back half to their schedule can Oakland continue to win in spite of themselves? Final prediction: 9-7
7. New England Patriots (1-1)
The Patriots are still a contender but no longer seem to be bullet proof. A early season loss to San Diego deosn't mean much, as the Bolts have historically done well against New England in the regular season (3-0). However rumors surrounding the desire and drive to win another title of the former champion are starting to circulate. Final prediction: 13-3
8. Tennessee Titans (2-1)
The Titans consistently have one of the leagues best defenses, anchored by the leagues best pass rush, and this season looks to be no different. A slight stumble early, as they may have been over confident going into there game against San Diego. The resulting blowout loss may be just what the doctor ordered for a team in need of a humbling experience. Final prediction: 12-4
9. Houston Texans (3-3)
Houston is on the verge of being a very good team, but still struggle to win games in bunches. A last minute FG by Philadelphia ripped the hearts out Texans fans in what was a coming out party for the offensive players on the Houston roster. Unfortuantly the usually tough defense forgot to travel to Philly with them, and they lost a heart breaking shoot out. Final predection: 8-8
10. New Orleans Saints (4-3)
Another team on the verge of being a playoff contenter, but hasn't found ways to win consistently is the Saints. Led by highley efficent Drew Brees, the Saints aren't flashy, but have been competitive each week. This season may not end the way they'd like but may be the buildings of something special. Final prediction: 7-9
All the Rest
11. San Francisco 49ers (5-5)
12. Indianapolis Colts (2-4)
13. Atlanta Falcons (1-3)
14. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4)
15. Miami Dolphins (1-3)
16. Denver Broncos (4-9)
17. Seattle Seahawks (2-6)
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-5)
19. Kansas City Chiefs(1-5)
20. Arizona Cardinals (0-0)

New Gold Standard - Minh707 New 49er Coach
GM/Coach Afflixtion22 disappears
AP
San Francsico, CA - In a stunning and shocking development 49er GM/Coach Afflixition22 disappeared from 49ers HQ after leading his team to a 60-0 destruction of the Denver Broncos and a 6-5 record. Coach Affilition22 has not been seen since the game and no one knows has heard from him.
Team leader Patrick Willis said, "We don't know what happened to coach. We played the best defense of our lives and dude disappears? I don't get it. We're 6-5 and right in the playoff chase. I hope he's okay."
"I don't know what happened. We scored 60 points and after the game everything seemed normal," said RB Frank Gore, "Even after the game he said... 'Good running Gore. I bet you're happy Rocky Bernard wasn't out there huh?' I mean he was all jokes and seemed happy."
The news of the coaches disappearance has been felt around the league. Even players from other teams have expressed their concern.
Seattle DT Rocky Bernard said, "It's bad news. Tell Coach I'm sorry. I didn't mean to chase down Gore. I would've let him go free if I would've known Coach would disappear. I hope he's well."
League Commissioner Frank Alonzo has issued the following statement:
We are sadden and disturbed by the sudden disappearance of Coach Afflixition. He was great owner and asset to the league. We hope all is well with the Coach and give our condolences to the coach's family.
The disappearance has left the team and community shaken, however the team worked quickly to fill the void and they lured storied GM/Coach Minh707 to take over the team. He declined an interview as he said, "I need all the time I can get to get up to speed and leave my imprint on this team. We are pushing for playoffs. So maybe next time."
Coach Minh707 is one of the top coaches out there and the 49ers should not miss a beat with the crafty coach at the helm. Despite their 3rd coach in 2 seasons they may have actually improved their chances in what is possibly the toughest division in all of NFLP with the San Diego Chargers at 10-5 and the surging Oakland Raiders at 7-4. It will be a tough transition for a team mid-season but Coach Minh707 is one of the best.

The Colts disappointing season finally comes to end with a loss to the Seahawks to finish a woeful 4-9. Bright spots in the season were few and far between, aside from team MVP Dwight Freeney who amassed a total of 14.5 sacks and 19 Tackles for losses. Overall, the stars of the team's stats looked like this:
Gold QB: Peyton Manning - QB rating 66.6, 55.8 completion percentage, 2487 yards, 17 TDs, and 27 Ints
Silver HB: Joseph Addai - 133 attempts, 745 yards, 5.6 ypc, 8 TDs, and O fumbles
Silver WR: Reggie Wayne - 50 Receptions, 839 yards, 16.8 YPC, 4 TDs, and 7 drops
Bronze WR: Marvin Harrison - 30 Receptions, 529 yards, 17.6 YPC, 6 TDs, and 1 drop
Bronze TE: Dallas Clark - 45 receptions, 732 yards, 16.3 YPC, 4 TDs, and 9 drops
Silver DE: Dwight Freeney - 32 total tackles (solo+assists), 14.5 sacks
Bronze DE: Robert Mathis - 9 total tackles, 3 sacks
Bronze OLB: Gary Brackett - 43 total tackles, 5 coverage plays, 1 INT, 3 big plays
Bronze CB: Marlon Jackson - 39 total tackles, 8 coverage plays, 2 INTs, 2 big plays
Bronze FS: Antoine Bethea - 45 total tackles, 7 coverage plays, 0 INTs, 2 big plays
Gold SS: Bob Sanders - 51 total tackles, 9 coverage plays, 4 INTs, 5 big plays
I will adjust these stats to 16 games tommorrow to figure out potential progression and regression.
