Just to clear things up, I can play the game with no problem. Anyway at the Development Drills in the Association mode, I can play it but there seems to be a black thing that obscure the view of the court whenever you are in the mid-court and the three-point line.

As you can see, the black curtain obscure the rest of the court. The curtain will totally cover your screen when you are in the mid-court and the three-point line but will move/disappear when you are near the basket up to the free throw line.

When I go to settings in pause menu I can only see "Video Settings" and "Advanced Video Settings". Maybe someone had this problem and knows how to change camera in development mode?

As you can see on streched rooflight over "curtain" (left one is much "longer" than three other) and circled star, this is graphic glitch caused by video card driver, so there is nothing you can do within the game to "remove curtain".

I have this too. I don't think it's a graphic card drivers issue because I didn't have this problem before I updated the drivers and weeks after that. Also it doesn't happen in my other association.
I contacted the support hoping that they will see the saved association file.

I think this is a camera clipping issue. I recently had to reinstall Windows due to an unrelated issue and when I reinstalled NBA 2K9 and transferred all my settings files back to the game, the camera was a bit more zoomed in than normal, even during cutscenes and replays. I do think it may have something to do with DirectX or videocard drivers. Maybe if you zoom the camera in or make it higher, then it will go past that curtain.
Try reverting your video card drivers, you can always set a system restore point before you do it and go back to the more recent ones if it doesn't solve the issue.

Solution:
Change camera when you try out scouted players during the time between seasons.
I had this problem with this blocking curtain (which looks like a bricked wall for me) when I changed a camera to showtime or press (don't remember). Now I changed it to 2k camera and I don't see any blocking objects anymore.
@P-Dub
The thing is that it is impossible to change camera during training sessions.

I've managed to change the camera in development training mode, but i have no idea how.
its saved to my settings file, when i try to use other settings (Alby's RR9) it changes back.
i thought i just played a quick game with 2k camera, but it didnt work out..
anyone know for sure? or does anyone know if theres any point in using Alby's settings over the regular ones?
