Hi, I posted a few times about my situation. Can't install because "servers are to busy". Which is not the case, it's me being on dial-up. So rather then wait to hear from 2k. Here's my solution.
At work here we have sattelite internet. And I got a laptop that connects wireless.
Would it work tobring my PC here then connect to laptop via ethernet then install?
I'm just wondering as I don't have much of a clue of configuring high speed connections. Will that even work if the laptop is running then running it to my PC. Will it read it automatically and be on the net or do I have to do something else? Just wondering if it's even possible as I see this the only way of intsalling 2k9. Don't want to wait for 2k or buy another copy months from now if the problem is addressed.
