I have installed the game but when i try to start it up it doesn't work. I'm in Steam and looking at My Games, then click launch NBA 2k9 and it says "This game is unavailable. Please try again at another time." I don't know what to do.

I have the same exact issue & I've gone to steam support & tried their suggestions but no luck. Any ideas?

This worked for me:execute the file vcredist_x86 in the installers subfolder of nba2k9!then the game should work.
But now that I'm playing the gameplay is verry choopy.
