View Full Version : PC GAME VEry Slow (My SPECS is Ok, i think)

Intel Core 2 Duo 4300 1.80Ghz
2GB DDR2 RAM
NVIDIA GEForce 7300 SE/7200 GS 256mb up to 512mb

Im playing the game at the lowest settings already but it is still very laggy. What do you think is the problem here? Thanks

Open with notepad, copy and past these below into your config.cfg file which is located in:

I have 1.61 ghz and i have it on the lowest setting and it runs slow.

Those values are the possible lowest quality with some adjustments such as cloth_logical_thread 1 becoming 2 instead of -1.

I play it quite smooth...my PC config is:
Intel Core2 Duo 2.53Ghz
2Ghz DDR2 Ram
Leadtek WinFast PX9400 GT (Fan Editiion) 512Mb
NBA 2k9 Video setting:
Resolution 1440*900 60FPS VSYNC: on
Player: High Crowd: Med

Thanks HOOP_GAMER. Its running ok now. Do you think the problem was with my videocard or with the whole PC? i want to upgrade my videocard so i could play the game in better settings.

I Bought the game and i can't find the 2ksports folder on my drive.
(it says i have retail verson) help!!!!!

Where is the saves folder????
i searched for it, but did'nt come up with nothing.
i'm trying to get my game to go fast

The "saves" folder is located in Documents and Settings/User Name
Here is the full path for XP:
(Drive Letter):\Documents and Settings\(User Name)\Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K9\Saves

Don't forget to apply "Show hidden folders" from folder options menu in "my computer".

For Vista, as far as i know there is a folder called "Roaming" and application datas are there.

Yes. Although NBA 2K9 is CPU sensitive, it also requires a quality GPU, too.
I think a 9500GT should be minimum for you. It's a low/medium-level video card and it's price is quite low.
