Online should be better from the get go, thats for sure.
Cant wait to see screens and what not of the game.

I'm looking forward to how this game will turn out too. All we have is a cover athlete and his game model. Yet I don't know if that's 2K8 or 2K9's game model.

I can tell you right now its not a 2k8 model. This one has more life in it. In 2k8 the models were claish and dead. Here, (assuming this is not CGI) it has light around it and actually LOOKS like lincecum. Man, look at the player faces of griffey and tori hunter in 2k8. Yeeesh

i dont want to freeze 2k baseball out the way i have nba live...i've given it 2 chances to redeem itself..nba live 08 and 09 (failed)...
so far mlb 2k8 (failed)...so what's it gonna be for 2k9 2k sports???

i just hope they dont jack the online game play up as much for this as they have for NBA2k9. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP THE LOBBIES!!!! the whole create a match thing in NBA just doesnt work and is garbage

That is definitely an illustration and not a game model but it could be a target for the developers.

they look nice.. i highly doubt all the players will look that good. If they do, thats awesome for 2K though. Last years graphics were sub par imo.
