I just hope this game isnt a bust like last year. I mean, I couldn't even play a game last year without a glitch. It got to the point where I was just sick of the game. Please people, make sure before this game is released there are no problems nor glitches. I would rather wait an extra 2 weeks then have to play through a glitch every time I have a game. Thankyou.

2K8 wasn't a bust, I actually enjoy the game alot. A glitch a game? Sounds like your exagerating. As far as releasing a game with no problems nor glitches...it will never happen. Somebody will always find something no matter how miniscule it is, like last year where some players uniforms don't get dirty.

lol... true last years game was to me the best baseball game ever!! I loved it... i mean there were some small problems but nothing HUGE! I mean it would be nice if they fixed the small mistakes in the game.. but overall it was a REALLY great game!!

this game needs alot of improvement, its the first time I've gone a year without buying a baseball game. I think the graphics of the game and presentation could take this game a long way.

It could use a lot of stability improvement, but I loved the gameplay. I hope that VC keeps the majority of the innovation within the engine, but irons out the instability aspects that plagued the game. I loved playing a baseball game where the user has so much control over the outcome and wasn't completely reliant on CPU statistics. That is the best part of 2K8!

a lot of things could have been better yes, but still was about the best baseball game every. hopefully 2k doesnt blow it with MLB like they have with the NBA2k9. PLEASE KEEP THE LOBBIES. go back to the old school were less is really more. all this extra junk is so uncalled for and we dont need it!! nobody cares who the top player for the week is, go back to every month if anything. just KEEP THE LOBBIES and make sure you can get on, play someone you want at anytime with no problems, thats all we ask for. i mean seriously, online game play is what matters most. nobody plays the computer anymore. also, 2 player seasons where you can actually play someone and not the computer when your teams game comes up would be nice to have again also

MLB 2K9 needs to get a graphic over haul like Madden 09 did. It also needs a GIANT atmosphere boost. I just feel dead when playing MLB 2K8. Also the whole throw stick was a good idea, but I hate it because the ONLY time I make an error is when I throw the ball in the dirt. I never pull guys off the base or over trow them. They need to make the throw meter more like MVP 05, where if you messed up then it would be a bad throw but you don't know how.

Ability to play against VIP in Franchise(not even sure if VIP opponent was in MLB2k8, I know it was in 2k7 and 2k6).....This should also allow the user to create multiple VIP profiles that match teams.This could produce what the user feels is realistic CPU play for each CPU team in things such as bullpen usage, etc, etc, etc

A pitching practice mode, batting practice mode

Obviously less meatballs down middle

Better postgame show with better camera angles on replays for this

Some kind of SUPERSTAR mode, and let me use any player I want(created or real) for this


A mode where I play as only the batters for both teams(whacky I know, but it sounds fun)

I know game is too far along for some of this, but maybe some things could be patched in
