my idea for mlb 2k9, which i've never seen mentioned before, has to deal with modes they could add into the game. The modes i'd like to see added is one Pitching Specific, where you pick your team to play in a franchise, and chose to play the pitching side of the game...where it skips your team batting and you take the role as each of the starting pitchers and relievers on the staff, but fielding is as normal controlled by the user. and if you are in the national league it skips to the pitchers spot when you bat unless a pinch hitter is in place.
the second is just fielding/batting specific mode, where you pick your team, and the computer assumes control of the pitching and you control the fielding, and hitting aspects of the game, or be an opposite to the pitching where you don't even control the fielding all you do is bat in your half of the inning keeping an eye on the score and just have it be batting specific.
to me that would be a fun addition to the game.

you can make the fielding controlled by the CPU if you really want... I don't remember if you could fast forward at-bats in MLB 2K8 or not though.

You can edit options with the CPU controlling things, like said above. ;)

Although that could turn out kinda bad.

MLB2K9 Idea threads already been done. Now you/we all have to wait until launch.
