First of all I will not shy away from anyone for a match...I have certain people in the top 200 that I really want to play because their records are godly. Today I ran into one of those fools....His record was 189-25....Feedback was ok, but nothing great...I belive it was around 80. I challange him a few times in the lobby and he won't reply, finally I call him out and he then decides to challange me. woohoo

Anyways game starts, I look over the teams and this guy is stacked on offense GOLD RB, TWO SILVER RECEIVERS AND A SILVER QB ALONG WITH another BRonze WR and TE. Anyways I start with the ball and after a couple first downs my drive stalls and I need to punt the ball to him.....nothing real fishy on defense, he likes to control his interior lineman.

His turn on offense, his first play is a run with Barry, then his 2nd play is a hot corner that I manually bat down, then he picks up 6 yards on a quick slant to the TE. 4th down, he calls a hurry up at his own 24 and then proceeds to start using cadence. No one jumps, but he's able to pick up the 1st down. He then proceeds to use everything in his arsenal as he drives down the field. Drew me offside one on the first drive with cadence...but he added the bunny hopping, and the hot corner. He eventually scores the TD.

My turn, I hot corner this sucker to death and he is to stupid to do anything about it. he stays on his lineman and keeps calling the same zone play. So I score in a quick 4 plays. Halftime score is him 21-14 and he is getting the ball back.

So I'm having a hard time stopping him and I know he's going to start running the clock as soon as the 3rd qtr starts, so I decide it's time to onside kick it right away in the 3rd qtr, this give's him a shorter field, but it also gives my defense a shorter field to work with, so I don't have to worry about the 70 yard bomb. He ends up scoring to go up 28-14. I again use everything against him that he was using against me and I score real quick, he's been attempting the fg glitch to block mine, but hasn't had success, So instead of giving him a chance, I go for 2 and score, so I amd down 28-22. I onside kick the ball and recover the ball and then proceed to go down in score another TD, this time I kick the XP, hoping he doesn't block it and I'm up 29-28 with the start of the 4th qtr almost here.

He runs the clock down all the way on every play and with about 2 minutes left it's 1st and goal at the 1 yard line. He downs the ball twice forcing me to use my final timeouts, but now instead of 1st and goal for him at the 1, it's 3rd and goal at the 3. I call my patented 4-3 defense, with everyone and their mothers hotzone somewhere on the field and I knock his pass down. 4th and goal at the 3 with 1 1/2 minutes left. He decides it's fg time. I decide it's goalline all blitz time then show blitz...woodson glitches his way thru the line and blocks his FG and I'm able to run 1 1st down and win the game 29-22.

With all the glitching he did, it still was a pretty fun game because it was so competitive.

For some reason I cannot stop cheese. It annoys me thats why I hate playing it. I hate it being successful everytime I get them to a 4th down and it works. I usually win tho because almost everyone I ran into does that 5-2 and hasnt had one sack yet.

It's juvenille, but I simply cannot help plugging in my headset, which I hardly EVER use, and openly laughing when I play people like this.

I played one guy who threw wide side outs ALL game, ever play. I would take control of my wide side CB and bat the ball down or pick it over and over...I would get on the head set and yell, "Throw it!! Throw it now!! He's open!!!"

It got to be so much fun, that I would intentionally leave generic recievers wide open, and then I'd replay it.

Sad thing is, he was well over .500 also, which begs the question: Who the hell are these guys playing????

That's another thing...why do these guys have this love affair with the 5-2??

It is such a limited defense..yet I have seen people come out in it on long yardage situations .

It must work against someone! haha. I agree that defense leaves a lot of things open. If you have a deep threat they are really putting themselves in dire straits

I usually line up in the same formation alot with 2 backs so I have extra blocking. Its shotgun with 3 receivers and 2 backs. There are like 3 different types of this and I use that the most. So when I keep the 2 backs in I have all day against 5-2 I could stand there for 4 seconds looking for a receiver.
