I think this would be a great feature to have in upcoming baseball titles. Kind of like Madden where you can customize uniforms, team info, ect...

Just a random thought...

Oh and also frequent roster updates would be crucial...

There was an expansion team mode in some old All-Star Baseball games which was kind of cool, but you chose existing team templates and drafted existing players, so it wasn't exactly the same I guess. Maybe that's what you're remembering?

ASB had a great expansion mode. The weak points were preset unfiorms and mascots to choose from along with preset stadiums to choose from (though many looked awesome). ASB actually has one of the deepest franchise modes in terms of this, player management, etc. You give me a tweaked version of that (meaning you can actually create uniforms and stadiums from scratch) with Visual Concept's presentation skills and franchise would be perfect IMO...at least off the field;)

also like to unlock patterns for the fields unlocks stuff for the players and the fans
