Why else would so many people be so blind to hype a series thats been second fiddle for the last few years? The EA fan boy is worse then the console platform fanboy. I can see Maddens pop and at least being arguably the best football game would be out selling its comp but how the hell did MVP baseball out sell Worldseries, and how did Live and NHL out sell NBA2k3, and NHL2k on the PS 2?
Seeing how Shenmue and PSO are my fave Japanese RPGs (which is like half of the PS 2's libary I am a 75% to 25% when off the PC no GC yet Xbox/PS 2 gamer but when I am play the PS 2 I dont get this sudden sensation of loyalty to anything that I played on the Ps 1. So I dont get it. I also dont understand why dynasty and franchise modes are so popular in non football titles when you have 164, and 82 game series? I barely have time for one season and I dont see any point in changing the rosters from the real NBA. You might as well still be playing NBA2k1 if you dont want the real rosters. I only care about franchise and dynasty modes in college games or maybe pro football. In Baskebatll, Baseball, and Hockey I want the best game.
