The defending champion Cardinals are the favorites but if Karlos Dansby, Gerald Hayes and the rest of the Arizona defense can't defend the run, they could be in for a long day. It's no secret that Big Mister likes to use his running backs, especially Michael Turner; and he can win games with very little passing. In a game earlier this week against NV's Panthers, Matt Ryan went 0 of 5 with 2 interceptions, yet, he won the game.

On the other side of the ball, Atlanta safeites Lawyer Milloy and Eric Coleman better be prepared to stop the pass. With no star CBs to help them, the two safeties will be relied upon to stop the dynamic receiving duo of Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald. I sense an interesting matchup between DE John Abraham and the Cardinals pass protection. Arizona likes to send it's backs on a little swing passes as checkdowns which will leave less protection for the old and frail Kurt Warner. However, Atlanta often times sends only 3 blitzers which means John Abrham might have to fight through a double team to get to the QB.
