Sweet, thanks ron for the info and the update. Nice to see tim's involvemnet. I actually like the idea of having and actual player perspective on the game rather than just a video game buff. Seems more authentic that way. Cant wait to see what the heckling sounds like. Can we get photos of the new commentary team in the audio booth?! :)

Hey Ron, is there anyway you might be able to get us some cool screen shots of like Albert Pujols, Ryan Ludwick, Alex Rodriguez or someone other than Lincecum? Lincecum looks great but then again all cover athletes do. Nothing against 2k, but last years graphics kind of took a fall from 2k7. Great stuff that you have posted! Great to see that 2k has started to release some info earlier than last year. Anyways, thanks ahead of time for the info that you provide tomorrow and if you can get a screenshot.

This on the field heckling could be really cool. It could be the emotion that linc is talking about that is missing from the games. I’m a bit older so when I remember back when I was pitching, my teammates would be heckling all the time trying to keep me pumped up and focused. I couldn’t really hear anyone but them. I kind of just blocked everything else out.

It could be cool too for mound visits and actually hearing some conversation taking place. Maybe there won’t even be a commentary team this year and the sounds you hear will actually be real sounds like that trailer from last year. That might be a good thing as long as the heckling doesn’t get to repetitive.

When i create a palyer i want to put my face on it and while im playing let's say he is about to step on the plate instead of a blank spot on his picture i want to see mine's. And please don't change nothing on the stadiums like advertisements, dimensions, views, oh and please a little vacation for joe and john please!!!!!!!!!!!! maybe adding a spanish broadcasting will work too, put it this way, you as a user choose what you want english or spanish broadcasting.....

Lincecum recorded a special salute to our community members that I'll get up in the next couple of weeks. He was really cool to let us follow him around and get an inside look at how signature moves and everything else comes together. BTW, I am 6'5", he's 5'10". How did this happen?

Thank you sir. If this game is being released in March isn't this type of motion cap a little late to happen? I'm just curious because I thought that come January it's pretty much nothing but bug fixing and polishing everything up until it goes gold.

Do you know how many people or who did any of the other motion cap stuff that will be in the game?

Did you get an opportunity to see anything in game with 2k9?

I am sure the game of it is pretty much done, but i am sure its not hard to add animations and mo captioning late into the games development. They could use battingstance0001-10 for tweaks and bug fixes.

All these cutesy photos of Lincecum in the studio is great and all but seriously, it's like y'all are oblivious to the fact that they always bring in an athelete to any sports game being made(usually cover boy) and get their input for the game. Why is this any different? Seriously, this game is 3 months from being released and there is no hype, there is no information other than OH LOOK AT TIM LINCECUM DOING MO-CAP stuff. Is this really the best 2K has to offer? Surely, someone has some information on game modes, depth of the franchise mode, updated player models..you know, the stuff WE THE FANS actually care about. Turning out to be yet, another dissapointing 2K game, MLB 2K8 failed, NBA 2K9 failed, and now it looks like MLB2K9 is following suite.
