The franchise in Mlb 2k seris has pretty much been the seme thing for 2 or 3 years. I would like to see some changes like..

1. 3 Teams Trades
2. How about for free agency u actually meet with a player and have a serious coversation on a contract
3.Baseball tonigth after every week of baseball or even every day
4. Realistic trades like trading Cc last year cuz they know he wont sign.

these are good idea but i imagine 2k will spend more time with the stupid trading card system and leave the franchise left untouched.

prove me wrong 2k. but probably not

Yea i know this will def not happen but it would be good to have in the game espically last year cause of the online, all i could play was franchise.

yea...the online was horrible in 2k8....trying to get used to playing the online when i got the game was horrible as i could not choose to umm i guess experience of the person i wanted to play against...so i just quit the online...i would love to have a baseball tonight in the game...there was something like that in a football game a while ago....ESPN 2k something i think...it had the plays shown that showed out and stuff like that in the games besides yours.....however i hope that they fix the small things before they add NEW bigger things

scrap the 3 team trade idea. Too complicated and hardly ever happens in real life.

What I want added in (that I believe is an absolute MUST) is arbitration, and class-A and B type free agents. Because as MLB baseball games are, it is pointless to let a player become a FA. You get nothing in return and might as well trade him, but sometimes you want to get more draft picks and keep your star the whole year.

I would like to design my own baseball field and upgrade the field as time goes on make a team in franchise and you get the pick of the FA this is some of the things i would like.

this would be nice also

I want, celebrations when a player hit he´s 500 homer or 300 win for example, emotive player retirments, when you know when is he´s final game. maybe someday

I like the patterns idea for the outfield and stuff....did any previous 2k baseball game track career accomplishments or something like that and notify you when you were closing in on something special?

they'll come up with more ideas.. i just hope they put them into the game. More realistic trades, and a new menu system. Just make the franchise look better. New player pics would definantly help too. And actually show the cap too, please. I just want it to be fun, because thats pretty much all most of us play.

I would like to see a lag free game both on and offline. I would also like to see a realistically presented baseball simulation, from the presentation to the game calling, if MLB2K9, could even take a page out of NBA 2K9, that would be GREAT. The way NBA 2K9 is presented, is almost like watching a broadcast game. I would love to see that in MLB 2K9, give us dialog, give us random stats, give us player emotions when hitting a home run, or sliding to make a diving catch, and furthermore, let their cap come off for god sake, we had that in 2k6, but it was so so and only for baserunning, why not add it for when a player is making a diving catch. As for diving catches, lets add some more animations, like in real life, a player can fall, spin, dive etc, lets see some of that in 2k9!! I have high hopes for 2k9, especially since 2k8, was a letdown, please 2k, don't do it to the customer again!

yea i love talking about Franchise, because thats really the only mode i play in baseball games. If online is great ill sometimes play that, but not too much.

I really like some of holdouts ideas with the "baseball tonight", and realistic trades. They'd have to call it baseball weekly or something like that because they don't have the ESPN liscense i believe anymore.
I know i still play CHoops 2K8 because of their great presentation, and watch the weekly show EVERY week.

The trades are helpful because it brings a big amount of realisticness if a player is in his last year of his contract with a smaller market team, and they know they can't resign him, to trade him to a team thats either in contention, or a team that can resign him easily.

The patterns would be an incentive also, and 2K could come up with ideas for that.

In franchise i want the ability to be able to play as any team i want, even if i dont control that team (example: World Series, or a big game in September) Usually i like being both of the teams hitters, and we couldn't do that last year in 2K8. That dissapointed me.

Also, the ability to set every aspect of CPU Rosters in franchise. I hate seeing Hanley Ramirez bat cleanup and have unrealistic stats because of it.

Theres more, and keep em' coming guys.
