All eyes were on San Fransico's rookie QB Brian McGee last night as the Titans came into the 49ers back yard to start off the 3rd 2k8 season. McGee had been lighting it up all pre-season and everyone wondered if it was for real. McGee appeared to fall prey to the jitters of it being his first "Real" game and looked like just another rookie for the first 3 quarters. Looking particularly like a rookie when on 4th and inches he audibled to a pass and threw a critical interception early in the game. 1 of 3 picks on the day for McGee. McGee pulled it together in the 4th quarter but it was too late. If there had been 5 quarters McGee and the Niners could have possibly pulled this one out. The Niners defense looked strong as they held the Titans in check most of the game but gave up a few big plays that were really the difference in the game.
