See title. I hope they improve the franchise mode to be more specific. Its like ratings from the players don't matter. You could have a SP rated an 89 and he will finish the season with a 5+ era, while some rookie which is rated lets say 78 finishes with a 3.80 era. So annoying. And elite closers with a 94+ rating finishing with a 3+ era with a 8-10 blown saves.

Same thing for the hitters. I have players rated 86 and the guy hits .222 even though his contact ratings are C+ or B. And player progression is ridiculous. Jose Reyes turns into a power hitter. Hitting 80 HR's a season.

And as the franchise continues you get these free agents that want RIDICULOUS amounts of money. And when they don't get what they want, they just sit in the free agent pool all season long. Players that aren't that good ask for 15 million and 4 years. I'm talking about guys that have had subpar seasons. Pitchers demanding 27mil? gtfo.

As you progress through the franchise the hitters take over. I get to points where I could fine ONE pitcher out of the whole MLB that has ERA below 3. Maybe two. And hitters getting 200+ rbis.

Thoughts?
