Please add deeper stats. Stats that are accessible during gameplay. L/R splits, last 7 games, last week, last month, runs created, wild pitches, passed balls, ground out/air out, pitches/per innings pitched, ect. The gameplay is obviously a must in any game, but the stats that I accumulate are just as intriguing to me as I spend about 50% of my time in the game studying them.

When playing a three or four game series during a season, in the last game of the series show a stat. as to how each player has done in that series. When facing a division rival for the third time or more, show stats as to how my team and it's players have faired against that particular opponent throughout the season. Show me what my batters are doing against certain pitchers throughout the season and their career.

If there is a pitcher that has always pitched in the AL and during interleague play you have a batter who has never faced that pitcher before, have a stat that comes up and says: "First career ab vs. [pitcher's name]". Something to that effect.

If you have a pitcher who has been around awhile and a batter who has been around a while show me what they have done vs. each other througout their careers.

Carlos Zambrano vs. Ben Sheets pitching match-up, during the pre-game show what each of their records are vs. the other pitcher or against the other team in that season and in their career.

By all means, whether i am batting or pitching, let me see during the AB where each pitch was. I DO NOT understand why they don't allow us to see that. If I have a 3-2 pitch coming for the third time, I want to be able to see where all the other pitches had wound up to try to identify a pattern. Where they all up, down and away, a hodge-podge of everything? I should be able to see what pitches were thrown and where in relation to the strikezone they were.

The problem I have with the Baseball manager is...why not put thatt in 2k9? Gee guess not. Im sure 2k9 will just have the same crap franchise. Why can't 2k figure out that they are making a sh*tty baseball game year after year, so they need to stop making more than one. Just concentrate all their resources on one game. If they put front office manager in 2k9 it would have been a great game but noooooo

but then they will make less money. You can thank EA Sports for that though. They already had Madden then they put out NFL Head Coach. Now 2K is simply copying.

The first thing they have to do with the statistics is make sure they are calculated right. I am sick of seeing my players throughout the course of the season having fewer rbis than homeruns, or even having negative rbis. How is that even possible?

There should be acknowledgments when a player gets a milestone such as his first hit/homerun/strikeout/save/win, 100 hits/hr/strikeouts. Stuff like that. Milestones. When you break a record that should be noted as well. All the major records should be in the game to begin with. But when you break the record say you hit five homeruns in a game, it gets acknowledged by the announcers. But the next time you hit four homeruns in a game, the announcers should NOT be saying one more hr would break the record.

There should also be team records kept in the game. ASB was able to do it on the "old" gen system, why cant the next-gen systems?

The stats. desperately need to be updated. I don't care if my pitcher led the league in strikeouts when God was a kid. I want to know where he stands now or last season, especially if i am in my second, third, or more years of a franchise. If I am playing the 2012 season, i don't care that Ben Sheets finished third in strikeouts in '04.

I also don't care for the useless info stat of [player's name] mom washed the dog for someone who met the President of Yemen while visiting Yugoslavia. Give me relevent info.

I think the gameplay with a few tweaks would be solid. Graphics are decent. Time to fix the other issues with this game. Make the franchise mode more than what it was five years ago. So they added the real minor league teams this last year. Whoopi! Build on that. I should be able to earn money from the minor league games as well as the big league games.

Make the "stories" that pop up about certain players wanting out of their teams be real. Im dont even read 98% of that crap because it is never accurate. At least they go it right in NBA 2K9
